No Churn 4th Of July Ice Cream Recipe

Are you looking for a fun and simple dessert for the 4th of July celebration? Here is a red and blue no churn ice cream recipe you can make with the kids. Everyone from young to old, will have fun with this one at a 4th of July party or any patriotic gathering for any of the holidays! You could put it out with an ice cream bar that includes red, white and blue sprinkles, some white whipped cream, red cherries and other festive toppings that guest can add as they choose too.

Plus, you only need 5 ingredients to make this recipe!

Here is how you make this simple no churn ice cream recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 C cold heavy whipping cream
  • 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 C sugar
  • 1 tub blue frosting
  • Red food coloring

Directions:

Whip heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

In separate bowl add in condensed milk and sugar. Blend until combined.

Pour condensed milk mixture into whipped cream whipping constantly.

Now add in the food coloring and mix again.

Pour mixture into loaf pan.

Scoop out 4 scoop of frosting and use a knife to swirl the frosting into the ice cream.

Add 3 more scoops of frosting on top and then spread it on top of the ice cream mixture like you would with peanut butter on a sandwich. This will create more of that swirl look on top.

Freeze for 6+ hours.
