Since we are big Disney lovers here & we know so many of you are as well, we thought it would be fun to share these darling, themed Disney hot chocolate bombs. This fun Mickey Hot Chocolate Bomb recipe is really not as hard as it looks! Just add some candy melts, marshmallows & you can create these adorable Mickey Hot Cocoa bombs! These are sure to delight any Disney fans especially if they are missing their Disneyland trips right now!

Mickey Hot Chocolate Bomb:

Hot chocolate mix

Mini marshmallows

Large marshmallows

Round silicone mold

Directions:

Chocolate in Silicone Molds for Hot Cocoa Bombs

Melt almond bark in a microwave safe bowl and stir every 30 seconds to avoid burning the chocolate (every microwave is different)

Place a spoonful of chocolate in the middle of the mold and use the back of the spoon to spread evenly around the circle (make sure to cover all the way up to the very edge of the mold)

Coat the mold 2 times for good coverage to help avoid breakage (I like to coat it once & freeze it for 5 – 10 minutes, then coat it again. Allow to dry completely – the freezer works well for 5-10 minutes to make sure it’s totally dry.

De-mold and place the pieces on wax paper

Balls for Mickey Hot cocoa bombs

Add in the hot chocolate mix and marshmallows to one side then place both ends together while the melted chocolate is still hot (this allows both pieces to be sealed together making a ball shape)

Adding Ears to mickey Hot Cocoa Bomb

Once the bomb is completely dry, melt down the bottom part of the chocolate covered marshmallows and place 2 on either side of the bomb where the seem is to give Mickey his ears (you will have to hold it for at least 30 seconds before letting go or it will fall off) . I like to put them in the freezer for a bit longer to make sure they are totally dry.

Once dry, it is ready to drink or you can store to use another time! When ready to drink, place in a mug and pour hot milk over the bomb and watch it explode

Enjoy!
