This is open to everyone – you no longer have to be a CA resident to visit Disneyland, but they will be opening to everyone on Tuesday June 15th, 2021.

If you want to know the scoop on how the ticket sales and reservations are working, we have a Disneyland Tickets FAQ here (put together by our partners at Get Away Today – our very favorite place to book Disneyland travel with their best price guarantees and layaway options, just to mention a few perks)!

A few benefits to booking through Getaway Today:

Also, if you bought tickets from Getaway Today that you couldn’t use during the closure of Disneyland, you should have received an email about rebooking those tickets. If not, contact Getaway Today right away to find out how you can rebook your tickets now.

(At this time, masks will be required from age 2 & up, but that could change, so keep an eye on Disney’s website to see most current guidelines for when you visit)

Here is everything you need to know about Disneyland Tickets going on sale today!

Q: What time do Get Away Today’s tickets go on sale?
A: Tickets are now on sale here from Get Away Today for best rates!  You can book 120 days out!

Q: What is the fastest way to buy tickets?
A: The fastest way to purchase tickets will be at Get Away Today. You can pull up the reservations system in a second tab while purchasing tickets as well. If you need assistance, their reservations team will be happy to help at 855-GET-AWAY.

Q: When do I get my tickets?
A: You’ll get your tickets as a PDF via email immediately after booking with Get Away Today and can begin making theme park reservations right after you receive them. You can also get your tickets any time by logging in to your Get Away Today account on our website. As a reminder, theme park reservations are available 120 days in advance. If you’re planning to go later, you won’t be able to make theme park reservations yet.

Q: How much are tickets?
A: Disney has confirmed that ticket prices did not increase. Prices will be live when they go on sale and as always, Get Away Today tickets are always discounted off of Disney’s prices.

As of this morning, one day park tickets start at $218 and park hopper tickets start at $273

Q: Do your tickets have tiers?
A: Get Away Today only sells multi day (2-5 day) tickets and they are NOT affected by the tier structure. They are valid any date during any dates before they expire.

Q: When do these tickets expire and when do they have to be used?
A: New Disneyland Resort Tickets are valid for travel through 12/31/2022. Multi day tickets have to be used within 13 days after the first day of use.

Q: Can I make changes to my tickets or reservations after I purchase them?
A: Yes! Tickets are valid any date before they expire (12/30/2022) and you can reschedule your theme park reservations to any valid date. If you need to cancel your tickets all together, Get Away Today has the only tickets that are refundable minus a $50 per ticket fee. Or, guests can purchase Peace of Mind for $75 that will allow cancellations and changes for no fees.

Q: Will Park Hopper Tickets be available?
A: YES! But they will look a little different right now. At this time, Park Hopping will temporarily begin at 1:00pm PT and is subject to theme park availability. When making a reservation, you will need to select what Park you’d like to visit first. After 1:00pm, you’ll be able to Park Hop as long as capacity allows.

Q: Can I book just tickets or do I need to book a hotel too? Which do I book first?
A: You can purchase either tickets only, hotels only, or both together with Get Away Today. Either way, you can check theme park availability before booking and you’ll get your tickets right after booking to start making theme park reservations. We recommend booking as a package to save the most and for ultimate convenience.

Q: I am having trouble on the website getting tickets?
A: As of right now, all theme park reservation days are still available and tickets will NOT sell out. If you are not trying to travel before June 28, there is no need to rush and get tickets right now.  You can send us a DM, email us at [email protected] or call us at 855-GET-AWAY if you want to by-pass the online system. Be sure to let them know Thrifty NW Mom sent you (so they apply the extra $10 discount if your purchase is eligible for it)!

Q: Can I use my tickets on any day I want?
A: In order to enter a Park, both a Park Reservation and a valid admission ticket are required for all Guests ages 3 and up. A valid theme park ticket does not guarantee entrance into the Disneyland® Resort and once you have made your ticket purchase information on how to make your date reservations should be automatically sent to you.

  1. I already have tickets purchased that have not expired, am I going to be able to use those in this new system?

    1. Hi Nichole, if you are a California resident you should be able to transfer those over to new Disneyland tickets, and then reserve the dates you want to visit. Contact the retailer that you purchased them through to make that happen!
