{Giveaway Ended}

I am excited to let you know about a new site which is launching in the Seattle area.  It’s called City Deals & they are an online retailer established in 2004, which offers local & national gift cards & gift certificates for 40-90% off the face value.  City Deals has been primarily located in Utah & Arizona & they are now branching out to other cities & Seattle is one of these new cities.

The way City Deals works is that there are hundreds of gift cards available on their site every day, for your favorite restaurants, spas, hotels, clothing stores, movie theaters, concerts & other attraction sites.  This is not a daily deal site, where the offer is only available for one day – they are available every day.  There is also no minimum number of buyers needed to purchase a gift card.  So, if you see a gift card that you like on the site – you can buy it right away & then use the gift card when you choose.

City Deals is also easy to navigate online – you can just type a company name into the search bar & it will pull up all the deals for that retailer.  Or type in your location & it will show you all the deals available for your area. If you’re interested in seeing all of the offers available, you can type in “All” in the category search bar & type in “USA/America” in the location search.

They have some great options for national chains as well – Coldstone Creamery, Buca di Beppo, Mrs Fields & much more.  So, no matter where your location is -whether you’re in the Northwest or if you’re out on the East Coast, City Deals has gift cards for every location.

City Deals gift certificates also make a great option for gifts.  You will receive your order within 2-3 business days & they will be professionally designed gift certificates which you can give as birthday, anniversary, Christmas gifts & more.  City Deals offers a bonus when you tell your friends & family about their program – you can receive a $10 credit for every new customer signed up thru your link.  You can share easily thru Facebook or Twitter, too.

Giveaway – $50 Olive Garden Gift Certificate and $50 Applebees Gift Card – 2 Winners

The unique aspect of City Deals, though, is that they also feature local deals.  Since they are just launching in Seattle, they are looking for ideas of your favorite, local businesses that you would like to see discounted gift cards.  We have such a great community of people who love to find a great deal, so they’ve turned to Thrifty NW Mom readers to share your favorite locations & local businesses. This is a benefit to you, too, since they will be taking your suggestions & contacting those local businesses to see if they are interested in offering discounted gift certificates.

*They also hope to launch in Portland in the near future & would love recommendations for Portland-area businesses as well.

In return, they will be offering 2 $50 gift cards to two winners – a $50 Olive Garden gift card & a $50 Applebees gift card as a giveaway to Thrifty NW Mom readers.   This giveaway will end on Sunday August 8th at 9pm pst.

The winner will be drawn using Random.org and the winner will have 48 hours to contact me, otherwise a new winner will be drawn. US residents only & you must be 18 yrs or older to enter the giveaway.
