State Parks Day in OregonĀ

There are so many fee-free days coming up the first weekend in January in Oregon. If you love the outdoors, this is the perfect time to plan an outing for your family. These opportunities include:

This Saturday, June 6th, 2026, is National Trails Day, and it’s also State Parks Day in Oregon, which means they are offering free day-use parking on both June 1st and June 2nd at the 26 parks that charge a day-use fee in Oregon.

There will also be FREE camping and parking on the night of Saturday, June 6thĀ in all RV hookup sites, tent sites & horse camps in Oregon State Parks.

U.S. Forest Service Fee-Free Day: June 6 is confirmed as a fee-free day at standard amenity sites on national forests and grasslands.

Even better, it is also FREE fishing weekend in Oregon this weekend! Lots of events happening around the state at county & state parks & more.

And for those of you in Washington, it is FREE admission to Washington State Parks next weekend (as well as free fishing weekend then as well).
