Southern California is a very popular destination for families as many folks head to Disneyland for vacation. But there are many other awesome attractions down in southern California to take advantage of as well if you’re headed there for vacation. We have put together a list of discounts that we have found to be popular family attractions in Southern California area – both around Los Angeles and San Diego.

There are a few large attractions in Southern California that are generally the most popular with families.

In addition to Disneyland these include:

We have included a break down on some of the current best offers for the attractions we have listed above. There are also multi-attraction passes that can save you if you plan to visit more then one. We have listed out some deals on those multi-attraction passes too!

Southern California Attraction Discounts:

Los Angeles/Anaheim Area:

Universal Studios – 

Adults (ages 10+) – $100 (Reg $120)
Kids (ages 3 – 9) – $94 (Reg $114)

You can print off your ticket & use right away – go straight to the gate. Tickets are good thru December 31, 2017. This pass does not include parking.

There are additional discounts on tickets for VIP Experiences, Front of the Line Passes, Multi-Day Tickets & Multi-Park tickets (with SeaWorld San Diego & Universal Studios), so make sure to check those out as well.

Knott’s Berry Farm –

Regular Tickets (Ages 12 – 62) – $44 (Reg. $75)
Juniors/Seniors Tickets (Ages 3 – 11 & 62+) – $41 (Reg. $45)

You can print off your ticket & use it right away – go straight to the gate. These tickets include unlimited use of all rides, shows and attractions (except Pan For Gold and arcades). Your admission ticket expires December 31, 2017.

If you buy an Any day Family Pack you can really save. Buy two regular admission and save $60!

Southern CA CityPASS –

The CityPASS Admission Card must be picked up at the Disneyland Resort first, prior to use.  This pass gets you admission to four attractions: LEGOLAND California Resort, SeaWorld San Diego, a 3-Day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Ticket for entrance into Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, plus (1) Magic Morning admission to a designated Disneyland Resort Theme Park.  The Admission Card is valid for 14 days from the first use and are non-refundable.  Must purchase and use by December 31, 2017.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour –

Go Pass LA – Save 55% on regular admissions.

You can use a Go Pass for 4 consecutive days on many popular local attractions. Some highlights of attractions that a Go Pass will get you admission for include:

Discount Tickets:

In addition to the discount tickets we’ve found below, there is also a special discount of Buy 1 Day, Get 4 Days FREE at Legoland and Sea Life Aquarium and Water Park!  All visits must be used within 5 consecutive days from date of first use and your first visit must occur on or before November 1, 2015.  The water park visit requires same day admission to LEGOLAND and is open seasonally.

Adult (Ages 13+) – $86 (Reg. $98)
Child (Ages 3-12) – $80 (Reg. $92)

Seaworld San Diego –

7 Day Pass (Unlimited admission for 7 consecutive days):

Child (Ages 3 – 9) – $71 (Reg. $93)

San Diego Zoo –

Adult (Ages 12+) – $45 (Reg. $52)
Child (Ages 3 – 11) – $37 (Reg. $42)

Kids Visit Free in October:

Kids can visit the San Diego Zoo for free during the month of October.  There is no limit on the amount of children that are free per paid adult (within reason for proper supervision).  Valid for children 11 and under.  No coupon required.  Click here for more information.
