I am really excited as my husband and I will be taking a little ‘couples’ weekend away at the Hotel Vintage Park soon (so stay tuned for our review, and more package deal info for you). I have heard that the hotel is very romantic – and a great spot for wine lovers and foodies. Tulio, the restaurant inside the hotel, is one of my family members favorite spots to eat in Seattle (so I can’t wait to try it and report back to you)!

Usually he’s a grumpy old guy (ex-Marine), but come baseball season… He’s up dancing to Louie, Louie & singing “Rauuuuuuuuuul!”

  45. I don’t drink, but I can definitely tell you the best thing about baseball in Seattle– it’s Safeco Field! The Kingdome was fine enough, but there’s something wonderful about watching baseball outside on a warm summer day. And real grass–no astroturf! :)

You have Felix, the legendary Dave, potential in Ackley, and now the new pitcher Maurer, who won a spot and has the world in front of him. This year may be the year that we can get some wins!     In October, I was layed off from the small family run company I worked for, & after 19 years with the same company, my husband was laid off in January. We have been victims of this rough economy, yet still trying to maintain a comfortable lifestyle through our frugal living.   124. Baseball in Seattle always reminds me of going to the Mariner games as a kid (at the Kingdome!) with my dad. My parents were divorced and so a lot of our visits with my dad were going to games. Plus we got to eat stadium food, most of which my mom would never let us eat.
