Welcome to the new Thrifty NW Mom site!!

Yay! We’re finally all set up over here on WordPress!  Thank you all for your patience – everything was transferred over very smoothly – it took a bit longer just so I could make sure I was comfortable using this new site & that everything was working properly. We wanted this to be as  smooth of a transition as possible for you!  A big thank you to my awesome designer, Lauren from Restored 316 Designs, for her hard work in creating a design that is fun yet classy & captures the Northwest spirit I wanted to achieve with the new look!  How perfect to feature a skyline of two of my favorite places – Seattle & Mt Rainier.  Mt Rainier is the gorgeous mountain I can see from my front or back yard – so I love that it’s featured prominently in my new site! :)

We’ve worked hard to make this site as user-friendly & organized as possible.  You’ll find two navigation bars at the top of the page, where you can search for information by category.   If you position your cursor over various words in the navigation bar, you’ll also find there are some drop-down menus for various categories. We’ve also included a “Search” button on the top right to make it easy to find exactly what you are looking for when you come visit!  There are still many features I will be adding to the site, so don’t be concerned when you see more changes.  You’ll also find pages that say “Coming soon…” – I will be filling them in with information as soon as I can!

I’m sure there may be a few kinks as I’m learning this new system, so thank you in advance for your patience while I get it all figured out! :) And please let me know if you find any problems at all or if you have any other feedback as you navigate the new site.

And, last but not least, to celebrate the new site & look for Thrifty NW Mom, we will be having some fabulous giveaways for this next week – so stay tuned, you’re not going to want to miss these!!  Our first giveaway will be beginning tonight!!
