Space Needle – The Next Fifty Celebration – $1 Rides – 10/21!

The Seattle Center is celebrating 50 years with their Next Fifty Celebration, which is coming to an end, Sunday, October 21st and is sponsored by Seattle-based drugstore, Bartell Drugs. The Seattle Space Needle will be offering rides to the top for just $1 on Sunday,10/21! This is the price of tickets when they opened in 1962.
Visitors can take advantage of the retro pricing from 9:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Tickets are limited to one per guest and are good for 2-hr time blocks throughout the day. This is a fantastic opportunity as Space Needle tickets are usually so pricey ($19 for an adult ticket to the Observation Deck), but I’m sure it will be busy so you may want to get their early.
