Rudolph Celery Snack for Christmas

Rudolph Celery Snack

We are all about the sweet treats at Christmas & love all the yummy cookies, desserts & more! But, if you are hosting a holiday gathering or bringing a dish to a gathering, it’s also important to balance out all of those sweets with the healthier options too. However, I know many kids will reach for the sweets first at holiday parties, so it’s all about making it more fun for the kids, so they will want to eat the delicious veggies too!

This is a twist on the traditional ants on a log  snack and so incredibly simple & easy, but it’s fun to make it festive for the kids with this fun Rudolph celery snack.  If you are wanting to make this for a classroom party, just substitute the peanut butter for a nut-free butter like Sunflower butter, so that it can be safe for all kids with allergies, too, since most classrooms and/or schools are nut-free. You can find a nut-free butter in almost every store.

It could also be fun to engage your kids in making these Rudolph snacks for a party so they can contribute to the party prep, too! Or bring all the supplies to a classroom party so that kids can make these themselves as part of the activity AND snack, which is always a hit, too!  (Just make sure to bring wet wipes or have access to a sink close by in case they have sticky fingers from the peanut/nut-free butter. :)
