  26. With two kiddos, we are always looking for ways to take vacations closer to home!

  27. The PNW is absolutely stunning. There is so much to do, see, and explore. Unfortunately I have not been able to explore Oregon as much as I would have liked, despite my 15 years of living in Washington. I would love to have the opportunity to explore my backyard, and this giveaway would be the perfect opportunity for me and my husband to get out, relax, and see what Oregon has to offer.

  28. Would love to win this! I climbed Mt Hood back in 2008 but don’t get to see it anymore now that I live in Tacoma.

  39. My husband and I would love to visit Mt. Hood because we always see it from Vancouver and it looks spectacular! It seems so close, but like a different world. 40. I really want to win this because, even though he was born in Oregon, my husband has never been to Mt. Hood in his 45 years. This would be the perfect excuse to get him there.

  41. I have lived in Portland for four years and have yet to see Mt Hood. It’s so beautiful I have no idea why I haven’t done so but it would be nice to enjoy everything Mt Hood has to offer. I’d take my lovely man after having our baby we have yet to go on a short trip together just the two of us :)

  42. I haven’t been to Mt. Hood since I was 12 – I’d love to use a few vacation days for this!

  43. Actually I would like to enter this for my son/Steve and his fiance as they live in Oso WA and lost many friends in the mud/land slide. My son is on the Oso Fire Dept and he was one of two to see the devistation from the mud slide that took many friends. He asks that I don’t treat him like a HERO but he has been on the rescue team since day one and I am very proud of him.
His fiance/Kate and him were planning on a nice Wedding this AUG/Summer by the river however, they had to be relocated for week cost money and now I am not sure if they will have their Wedding in Oso by the river after there huge loss.

  44. This resort has been on our bucket list since reading about it on your site! The kids (10-3) and I just moved out to WA a year ago. We are outdoorsy and LOVE all of the opportunities this state provides. I hope you pick us :)

  45. I like hiking to Mirror Lake when we visit the Mt. Hood area. It is an easy hike and beautiful views of the mountain.

  46. My hubby starts chiropractic school this summer and we need a VACATION! This sounds like a great getaway for the 2 of us – an escape from kiddos for a few days!

  48. Shared with my sister; maybe we’ll win and can share this getaway and catch up!

  49. So reason why I would love to win this trip is because…I’m in a race with myself to make this year the best one yet! I’ve been trying all sorts of new things and going new places I’ve never been and I have yet to go to Mt Hood! I’d love to check that one of my list:)

  55. The last time I tried to go to Mt Hood (unsuccessfully) was in ’96 to ski and the road was closed due to an accident (regardless of me prepaying for my lift ticket) and about 10 yrs prior to that and I had a run in with a blizzard and eventually a boulder while skiing. As you can imagine, I have been very disappointed and haven’t been back since. Maybe it’s time to reconcile our differences and start anew with an opportunity such as this? Here’s to new beginnings. :)

  56. My husband & I are going to be celebrating our 15th Wedding anniversary this Summer. He just started a new job & won’t be able to take time off. We have never been to Mt Hood, but have been wanting to go. This would be a perfect way to celebrate 15 years of marriage & stay close to home.

  57. I would live to go to my good because I have seen pictures and it looks beautiful! Our anniversary of 25 years is in august and that would be such a great gift:)

  58. Mt. Hood is so beautiful! I haven’t been up the mountain in many years and would love to visit again.

  59. Did I mention that I was a daughter of one of the ski patrollers on Mt Hood… looking for my mother (one of the ski patrollers on duty ) in the blizzard when I ran into the boulder? I found a lot of ski patrollers in a hurry… just not my mother (and yes, I was about 7-10 years old and on a black diamond run looking for her). Hey, what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger right? :/

  60. We stayed here two spring breaks ago and had a great time. We would live to go back and visit during the warmer months.

  61. My husband and I are expecting our first child in July
and would love to stay at the resort at the Mt for a Baby-Moon!
    It looks beautiful!

  69. We are on the coast. Would love the opportunity to explore mt Hood for the hiking with m husband. My sone is going to the MDA camp and was told that it was near the resort this year also.

  73. I would love to win this trip because my husband and I have never had a honeymoney, nonetheless less traveled this far. Winning this amazing trip will be a great belated wedding gift.. Get to be able to be just us and get away from the craze of bills and work. Also the fact we don’t live alone. We have 2 family member that moved in with us and unfortunately we can’t say no. We are going on our 2 year wedding anniversary in November and still trying to plan a honeymoon. Of course money is a major factor and we just work to pay bills and never have been able to get away more than a couple of miles . We never win anything so hopefully this will be it. :)

  78. Coming from South America -specifically Peru- I never knew I would be able to live in another country that wasn’t my own.

When I met my husband, I promptly moved from California to be with him in Oregon, where we got married and have a wonderful son.
We never had a honeymoon so it would be nice to have a little time for ourselves and have a mini honeymoon and get to know a bit of Oregon.

  79. I shared this on fb with all of my friends. I would love to go on our anniversary which is also in April. My husband has been off work for months with TBI (traumatic brain injury) and is just at the point where we could finally get away for a couple days and boy do we need a getaway. We love Mt. Hood! He has been taking pictures all winter of beautiful scenery, his pictures are exquisite and we plan to use them in the new center for families we are starting hopefully within this next year. What we have found is there is not many places where families can go that are specially for healing while using many forms of art therapy and fun activities as well as healing in many forms. Pictures of Mt. hood and the beautiful NW would be perfect for showing what someone can do even when life happens.

  80. I desperately need a getaway with my husband. My mom recently died and my husband lost his job. We need a vacation to relax and get back on track.

  81. I love Mount Hood for its proximity to Portland and all the hiking with great views around!
