4th of July Jello Cups – “Firecrackers”

It’s always fun for any holiday gatherings to bring themed food and with 4th of July right around the corner, these Patriotic Red, White & Blue Jell-O cups are a whimsical & fun treat to bring to your get-together or picnic.  They are sure to be a hit with the kids – and adults! I love that they are super easy to make and you can get the kids involved in making them too.  You’ll just want to make sure you start preparing these early enough to give each layer time to set before you start the next layer. My girls love the red cherry on top – I don’t know what it is about cherries on top of things, but kids always want those cherries, so they will be excited about these firecrackers!

Ingredients for 4th of July Firecrackers

  • 1 1/3 cups boiled water
  • 2 – 3 oz. packages of Jell-O gelatin (Cherry and Berry Blue)

  1. I just checked the ski bowl adventure park web site. You had mentioned that one could add on the more “thrilling” rides for $4.00 each. They now range from $9.00 – $65.00!!!! It might be a good idea to update your posting.

    1. Thanks for letting us know, Joan. I think you’re referring a review that we had written quite a few yrs ago for Ski Bowl with the prices & our experiences at the time. Unfortunately those prices & rides, etc can change every year, that was just our experience the year we went, but we definitely recommend calling ahead & looking at their website for updated info.
