Wow, this is a great photo deal – today only, Thursday June 30th, Mixbook is offering a FREE hardcover photo book with 20 pages + FREE shipping, so it’s totally free! Â Make sure that your book is 20 pages or less, though, in order to use the coupon code: FREEBK to get your FREE photo book.
Here’s how it works:
- Head over to MixBook
- Under “Photo Books”, choose “8.5” x 11″ classic landscape hardcover photo book
- Uncheck the blue box at the bottom of the page which says “Give me a book that’s almost done”. If you keep this checked, it will not allow you to change the number of pages. You have to have 20 pages or less to get this book for free!
- Make sure you delete the pages to get down to 20 pages or less
- When you’re done creating your book, head to checkout & use the coupon code: FREEBK
- Your total should drop to $0 + Free shipping
The site is running a bit slow right now since this is a popular offer, so be patient & hopefully it will get a bit faster as it goes along. I’m also hearing that it might be faster if you have your photos uploaded to a different site & are uploading from there such as Picasa or Facebook. I haven’t tried this myself yet, though. Let us know what works best for you!

They are extremely quick to upload from my picasa web albums. :)
I just uploaded all my pictures to a picasa album and voila! Works like a charm. Thanks for the tip!
Right now, I’m wishing that I knew about this deal a day ahead of time. Maybe that way I could have just logged in and ordered it today instead of working on it for hours without a single photo loading. Pretty bummed out!

Jonathan, unless someone else (besides me) linked you here from your form, then I know you’ve received/read my form! Will we receive a response telling us whether we qualified or not? We as customers have no way to tell what time a project was created. I believe I started mine before the 10:30 deadline, but can’t be sure as none of my photos loaded for quite some time!
UGH. Spent all day making my book look fantastic, then came back to this page to get the code again only to see it was gone. I attempted to put the code in at check out, just to see what it said.

Hope that my book will save for awhile and they will do it again. Don’t really want to pay $40 for a book when I thought it would be free. However, I do have to say out of all the photobook sites I have used, this one is by far my favorite. So many choices, options, and even embellishments.
