{Giveaway now ended}

One of the reasons I love the summertime is because it means lots of opportunities for grilling! Not only do I love how flavorful the food can taste when you grill it – but my husband loves to grill, which means less work for me! :) We’ve been experimenting for awhile with different marinades, so I was excited to try out Lawry’s new marinade flavors.  Lawry’s & My Blog Spark sent me their Get Grilling Kit & included was Lawry’s new Tuscan Sun Dried Tomato marinade and Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ marinade.

We tried out the Tuscan Sun Dried Tomato marinade & thought it was very tasty. My 4 year old daughter can be quite a picky eater  & this often changes from day-to-day what she likes to eat – but she really seemed to like this flavor as it wasn’t too strong, but still was flavorful. I’m looking forward to trying out the Szechuan marinade as well.

Make sure to check out the newest flavor pairings with McCormick Seasoning’s & Lawry’s marinades over at McCormick’s website, as well as some delicious recipes for the grill! The Applewood Grilled Shrimp & Plum Salad with Cinnamon-Honey Dressing recipe sounds delicious!

  1. I like to grill salmon or kielbasa. We also did some herbed potatoes recently that were pretty darn good.

    I am already a fan on Facebook

  2. I love to grill chicken, burgers, pork, and fish! We do a lot of grilling in our house! I “like” you on FB and follow on Twitter!

  3. I love to give my husband steak to grill. We make our own “montreal” seasoning to save money because we like a lot on the cheaper cuts of meat :-)

  4. Our favorite thing to grill is veggies – tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, onions, etc. We drizzle them with olive oil and they go fast in our house!

  5. Nothing like grilling a steak with Lowery’s sprinkled on it!
    I live alone, so these days I typically grill all at once and put things away for later use. Like a steak for today, chicken for tomorrow, and salmon.

  6. The link here was too long for my twitter; but I left a tweet about it and mentioned your Twitter Name! I’m faewings

  7. I follow you on facebook and e-mail! And I use Lawry’s all the time. My girls have even made a song about lemon pepper chicken!

  8. Chicken is my favorite thing to grill. But I tried grilled peaches for the first time this summer, and they were pretty tasty!
