Just a quick reminder that this offer is ending tonight at midnight pst  – only 4 hours to go if you want to purchase these movie tickets!

Tippr, a group buying site featuring daily deals, has a fantastic offer for the next 2 days.  They actually offered this deal earlier today & it sold out quickly, so they have now added more tickets.  Right now, you can buy 4 movie tickets for just $20.  If you’re a new customer to Tippr, you’ll also receive a $5 credit just for signing up.  This will make the 4 movie tickets just $15 if you’re a new to Tippr! That’s $3.75 per movie ticket! You can even use these tickets at IMAX or 3D movies.

Tippr is bringing you this deal thru Weekly Cinemas, a site that offers discounted movie tickets & your tickets can be redeemed thru either Fandango.com or MovieTickets.com.  You’ll have 90 days (until December 26, 2010) to claim your coupon code at Weekly Cinema. Then, you’ll have 90 days to use your coupon code at Fandango or MovieTickets.com.

You can buy a limit of 10 sets {4 movie tickets/each} per person with a limit of 10 more to buy as gifts.  I’m thinking these would be great to include in a family gift at Christmastime – find a fun popcorn bowl, fill it with some candy & other treats & print off a certificate with this coupon code for them to redeem for 4 FREE movie tickets! Definitely a frugal gift if you’re buying for an entire family!

Here’s how it works:

  • Sign up or login to your account at Tippr
  • Select “Seattle” as the city (upper right)
  • Select “Weekly Cinema”
  • Redeem your coupon code at “Weekly Cinema” within 90 days
  • Then redeem your coupon code at Fandango or MovieTickets.com within an additional 90 days

*You are not required to sign up for a monthly subscription to Weekly Cinemas.

Thanks Coupon Connections NW!

  1. Jen, do you happen to know if these tickets are good on new releases? Or do they work like “super saver” tickets where you can only use them after 2 weeks or so after a movie is released? I’m wanting to get them for the midnight showing of Harry Potter…

  2. These are basically just codes for Fandango – so I think they are good on ANY movies. But check the specifics at Fandango.com for sure.
