*Update: Reader Alisa went to use the $5/$5 coupon today at her local Gap store & they told her the coupon was only valid from November 14th – 22nd. It does not state a date when you can use the coupon on the one I received by email. So, I’m not sure if this was just her store or if that’s the case for all of them, but I’d call ahead first if I were you!

There’s a new coupon for $5 off your purchase of $5 or more which can be used in-store at the Baby Gap or Gap Kids.  The way it works is that you will need to connect with either your Facebook, Twitter or Google account. (I chose Facebook because it only required that I “share” the coupon -the other options said they would access certain aspects of my account). Once I connected & shared on Facebook, I then had the option of entering my cell phone number to have the code texted to me. It also emailed me the code which you could print off.

Here’s what the code says: Just show this barcode to your cashier to redeem your savings. Offer only valid in-store.

If you check out the clearance section or socks, tights, etc – there’s a good chance you can get a FREE item or two with this coupon code. It does say redeemable at any Gap store location; however, I’m not sure if that means they will accept it at an outlet store or not. It doesn’t hurt to try though!

*I doubt you’ll be able to combine these coupons with the $5/$5, but it’s worth asking the store.
