The first day of March is Friday, which means that spring is on the way and it’s time to get busy doing all that Spring Cleaning. It’s the perfect time to start cleaning out those closets and putting away the winter clothes and starting to get out some warmer weather clothes (let’s hope!). We also use this time in our house to pull out clothes that no longer fit to find a new home for them, whether we give them to friends, donate or sell them. This is an ideal time to do that as this weekend starts up the first week of Spring Consignment sales. Consignment sales are one of the best ways to not only clean out your closets by giving you motivation to get everything done in time for the sale, but also to earn some money on your children’s clothes, toys, books, equipment and more! It’s also a perfect time to go shopping for new clothes for the next few seasons & what better way to save than to shop gently-used kids items at consignment sales.
Once again this year, we have compiled a list of the large children’s consignment sales around the Pacific Northwest into one list. This list features children’s consignment sales in western Washington, eastern Washington, and Oregon for the springtime – from March through mid-May. We hope this will be a great resource for you to use as you figure out which sales will work best for you to go and shop, as well as some possibilities of places you could try to sell your children’s gently used items, too.
You can find this resource at anytime just by heading to our top navigation bar on the website and looking under the “Northwest” category. You can see the picture above to show you where you’ll find this resource.
If there are any large consignment sales that we missed around the Northwest, make sure to leave a comment on the 2013 Northwest Spring Consignment Sale Roundup post or email us at thriftynorthwestmom (at) gmail (dot) com.
