ING: Open A Child’s Savings Acct and Get a $25 Bonus, Open Checking Account & Earn $103

ING is having a big Black Friday sale thru Sunday November 28th at 8:59pm pst (11:59pm est).  They are offering several bonuses when you open either an Electric Orange account or a Child’s Savings Account.  When you open an Electric Orange Checking Account, you can earn a $103 bonus.  If you open up a Child’s Savings Account, you can earn a $25 bonus.  It looks like this deal only comes around one time a year as it was available last year for Black Friday weekend.

Here’s how it works:

Open up a Child’s Savings Account & Earn $25:

• Go to ING & click on the ING Direct logo in the top left corner. This will take you to the home page
• Click on the Black Friday sale – Learn More button
• Click on the “Kids Savings Account  – Open Now”
• Go thru the steps to open up an account in your child’s name (either you or the child need to be a new ING customer)
• You will need to deposit at least $.50 in the account in order to qualify for the $25 Bonus.  The $25 bonus is supposed to show up right away, but I’m hearing that it may take until Monday since it is the weekend & they will need to verify your deposit.
• Once your deposit has been verified & you earn the $25 bonus, you will start earning interest on the $25. You can withdraw your money at any time after 30 days.

Open up an Electric Orange Checking Account:

• Go to ING & click on the ING Direct logo in the top left corner. This will take you to the home page
• Click on the Black Friday sale – Learn More button
• Click on the “Electric Orange Account – Avoid checking fees & get $103” – set up your new account (only one bonus per household- must be a new customer to ING)
• Once your account is set up, you will be sent a debit card – you must use your new debit card (or Person to Person account where you can send money securely from your account to another bank account)  at least 7 times within 45 days.
• On Day 50, you will receive $103 in your account if you have made your 7 transactions

*The Electric Orange Checking account has no fees or overdraft fees.  The Child’s Savings Account also has no fees or overdraft fees.

*There are over 35,000 free ATM’s (I just checked to see how many were close to me and I even found one in my town – which I like since I have to drive 20 minutes to get to my bank). They had ATM’s available in the Safeway & Walgreens stores near me.
