Plum District is a new group buying site that will be coming to the Seattle area very soon with regular, daily deals. In the meantime, they are featuring “Plum Steals”  (periodic local deals available for several days at a time and/or until sold out).  This week’s Plum Steal for the Seattle area is 50% off admission to the Evergreen State Fair.  This makes the tickets just $5/ticket (as compared to $10/ticket). You can only buy 2 tickets per transaction.  This deal is available for 3 more days or until all the tickets have been sold.

The Evergreen State Fair is located in Monroe, WA & runs from Thursday August 26th – Monday September 6th.  If you buy advance tickets, they are $7.50; otherwise, they are $10 for adults at the fair.  So, this can be a great savings if you’re planning on taking your family to the fair.
