Point Defiance Zoo – Free admission for Tacoma Residents

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium regularly has free admission days for Tacoma residents. There are a few days coming up this month that I wanted to let you know about for those of you who live in Tacoma, as well as the remaining free days for 2011.
You’ll need to make sure to bring in a photo ID which shows proof of residency. If your photo ID does not have a physical Tacoma address (not a PO box), then you’ll need to bring an alternative method of proof of residency. Present a photo ID with a utility bill or other legal document that lists a Tacoma address. The bill or legal document must match the name listed on the photo ID. Each adult must provide an alternative method of proof of payment of residency if your ID does not have your Tacoma address. Children 18 & under do not require this proof of residence.
