It’s time for another giveaway this week to celebrate you, our readers, & to let you know how thankful we are for your support! This is a fun giveaway item that your kids (or maybe even the parents) would enjoy for Christmas!

A little about the Rockboard Scooter:

It’s always hard to find gifts for the tweens and teens on parents’ holiday shopping lists. The options are often high-priced electronics and video games that stick kids to the couch. This year, there’s a fresh, new alternative that will get kids up and active and out the door. The Rockboard Scooter is the coolest new hybrid on two wheels.

The innovative Rockboard Scooter is a hybrid that combines the drive-chain propulsion of a bicycle with the practicality of a kick-scooter and is going to on the top of every tween and teen’s must-have list for the holidays.

The Scooter’s patented advanced Rockboard Propulsion Technology™ incorporates a revolutionary power drive chain that will have kids racing down the block and tearing through their neighborhoods with every up-and-down propel. The faster kids rock up and down, the faster it goes!

My experience with the Rockboard Scooter:

My family and I had a lot of fun on this scooter. It can be set into two different set ups – regular scooter mode or Rockboard mode. Every member in my family was playing on this scooter – including myself and my husband.

We really liked that in the regular scooter set up, the platform was large enough that we could put each of our boys on it with us and scoot along. In the Rockboard set up, it is very easy to use and my 5 yr old was able to get the motion down very quickly. This was a lot of fun and believe it or not, provided a great workout! This may be my new favorite piece of workout equipment.

What I love most is that it provided an opportunity for my entire family to get outside, get some exercise and have some fun! What could get any better than that?

  2. I would love to give this to my daughter! She has been wanting something like this and it looks pretty cool too!

  3. Living in the rather damp NW, it’s important to take advantage of every day that isn’t frigid and/or pouring rain. We’d love a Rockboard Scooter for my little loves to encourage them to scoot around in the great outdoors. :)

  4. We would have so much fun with a Rockboard Scooter during homeschool PE. It would allow me to keep up with my little energizer bunny boy as he goes racing down the sidewalk.

  5. I subscibe to the Thrifty NW Mom page on FB. I love all the up to date information you provide to minimize my out of pocket expenses.

  6. I tried to like the Rockboard Scooter FB page but it kept sending me to a Zuilly page instead. I couldn’t find a Rockboard scooter FB page.

  7. As I care for my 3 grand daughters (one is ADHD and one is autistic) this Rockboard Scooter would be a God send… I live in a trailer park and finding outdoor activities for my grand daughters is always a challenge. This Rockboard Scooter would enable me to provide necessary exercise and activity and hours of laughter.

I subscribe to Thrifty Northwest Mom on Facebook and via my Google Mail account.

I am addicted to your blog to be honest, I read it daily and love it to bits. Thank you so much for all of your hard work to bring us savings. I have enjoyed many bargains.

I like the Rockboard Scooter Facebook page.

Please consider my entry. Thank you

  8. My family has had some pretty hard to deal with issues this past couple of months. In October we lost our cat, Sabine, after 16 years. Then, last Tuesday our family dog, Fozzy, bit our 2 year old son. After much heartache we had to give up our dog–after 7 years he was part of our family, so this was SO HARD. To top it all off, my husband is very angry about this. It’s been two days without Fozzy, and while I feel I did the right thing by finding him a new home, it’s pretty grim around here. We need something to brighten our hearts a little, and something fun to do together–teaching our kids to ride a new scooter sounds like a step in the right direction.

    Thank you,
    Coleen

  9. D’uh I’m turkey prep sleep deprived! I found the link in your post and I liked the Rockboard scooter FB page. I need a nap but I have to baste in 10 minutes!
