Stitch Fix Late Spring Women’s Box
I have been using Stitch Fix for over a year to receive curated boxes from a personal stylist to slowly add to my wardrobe. I try to order a box once a month or every month and with most of the boxes, I have found at least one item I like to add to my wardrobe. I like to share these boxes with all of you so you can see the types of items that come in Stitch Fix boxes and if you are a Stitch Fix user, you can pin these items to your Pinterest board to share with Stitch Fix. Or you can request them directly too to see if they might be sent in your next box.
Stitch Fix, it is a service that provides a personal stylist to send 5 curated items, personalized to your style & size, directly to your home. You can then try on the items in the comfort of your home & decide whether or not you want to keep them.
Stitch Fix Late Spring Women’s Box Review:
I actually got this box in May but I’m just getting a chance to share this review with you. I cannot remember the exact prices on most of them, so I will add those in if I find them.
Just USA Loula Colored Denim Jacket – $68
I have been wanting to get another denim jacket for quite awhile, so I was excited to find a denim jacket in my box (I think I may have even mentioned that in one of my box reviews to the stylist). However, when I saw the color of this jacket, I was not too sure. It is very bright pink! I have told my stylists that I love bright colors, but I wasn’t sure about a jacket this bright, as I wasn’t sure it would be a piece I would use enough.
But, the fit was perfect & the jacket is so comfortable, so I wore it around the house & for my family. They all thought it was too bright, too, at first. But, the more I tried it on & with different outfits, this jacket definitely grew on me. After thinking it over for a few days, I finally decided to keep it & I am so glad that I did! I wore this for my birthday date with my husband and now I am loving this jacket! It is so fun for spring & summer and it is such a great addition to my wardrobe.
Tribal Maura Printed Straight Trouser –
When I set up my Stitch Fix box, I asked to try some pants that weren’t jeans. I was hoping to find some new types of pants to add to my wardrobe. I wish I had gotten pictures myself of these pants, as it’s hard to see with the photo, but these are striped pants, kind of a seersucker type of look. They were cute & fit well, but I just didn’t think they would be ones that would become staples in my wardrobe as they didn’t seem the most versatile & I honestly just wasn’t sure how often I would wear pants like these. I sent these pants back.
Lety & Me Aubree Back Detail Cardigan –
This red cardigan was a nice sweater & I like the color, but the fit & style just felt more plain. I already have quite a few cardigans & several in similar colors and I have liked some of the other cardigans I have gotten from Stitch Fix as they often have something special about the style. This one just felt more boxy & not as cute to wear, so I passed on this sweater.
41 Hawthorn Breyson Pleated Detail Blouse –
This was a really cute blouse & I loved the style & fit. I love the v-neck and pleats which were very slimming. The pattern was fun & definitely some new colors that I don’t have as much of in my wardrobe. I honestly went back & forth for days on this shirt & finally decided to pass on it as I wasn’t totally sure it was a blouse I would wear often. But, now I am honestly wishing I had kept it! I might ask for it again in a future box if they still have it.
Lila Ryan Jenalyn Bootcut Pant –
This was the other pair of pants that they sent me in this box since I had requested pants and these are nice, well-made pants. They were a bit heavier of a fabric & I was looking for a lighter weight for springtime. They fit well & had a cute bootcut style, but there was just nothing particularly special about them that made me want to keep these, especially as I most likely wouldn’t wear these till fall & I really had hoped to add to my spring / summer wardrobe with a lightweight pant option. So I sent these back.
Stitch Fix Spring Box Thoughts:
I only ended up keeping one item from this Stitch Fix box, but I did feel like they really listened to what I had asked for in my requests for this box. The pink denim jacket that I kept is now one of my favorite wardrobe items and I think it will be something I wear for years as a great spring or summer versatile piece! I also felt they did a nice job sticking with styles that I really like & finding some fun new patterns & colors along with some colors they know I like.
I really love being able to try things on in the comfort of my home & as you can see, having several days to mull things over definitely works well for me. I am a very indecisive shopper, which is why I struggle more with shopping in store & I become too overwhelmed often with online shopping & all of the choices. So, I love having a personal stylist do the hard work for me of choosing pieces & all I have to decide is whether or not to keep it! The clothes may cost more sometimes than I would typically pay, but having that shopping & styling done for me is something I am finding great value in with my busy lifestyle & indecisive shopping habits.
