Asian Sticky Style Wings

  • 4 lb bag wings (wingettes and drumettes)
  • 1/2 cup light soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 stalks green onions; diced
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • Oil for frying

Pour oil into outdoor fryer. Bring oil to 350 degrees F.

Make sure wings are fully defrosted. Carefully place wings into the basket and lower into the cooker. Cook until golden or desired crispiness.

Remove from pot and drain excess oil.

In a pot on the stove mix together soy sauces, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, pepper and cornstarch. Heat the sauce on low until it comes to a boil and thicks. Turn off heat.

Place wings in a bowl and add the sauce. Toss well.

Add in diced green onion and toss well. Serve.
