Woodland Park Zoo – Opening July 1, 2020

Woodland Park Zoo has announced their reopening date of Wednesday, July 1, 2020. You will need timed tickets in order to visit & those tickets will go on sale starting on Monday July 22, 2020 at 10am. The zoo will be practicing social distancing and there will be changes for your visit, so we have all of the details for you. Find all of the details & answers to FAQ on the zoo website.

Zoo Changes for Reopening: 

Timed Tickets – All zoo members & visitors will need to purchase timed entry tickets so they can ensure the right number of people at the zoo to provide social distancing. Once you are there, you can stay as long as you would like.

Face Masks Required – Everyone who visits the zoo will be required to wear a face covering (including staff). Exceptions are made for children under the age of 2 & people who are medically unable to wear a mask.

One Way Path – They will have a one-way path for you to visit the animal exhibits at the zoo & help them keep social distancing guidelines in place.

Indoor & High Touch Areas Closed – Indoor buildings & most high touch areas will be closed for safety. Keeper talks & programs are paused at this time to minimize group gatherings.

Entry thru West Entrance – There will only be entry thru the West Entrance, not the South Entrance, at this time.
