2nd Update: It turns out this cannot be purchased as a gift – I didn’t see that in the fine print the first time I posted. Here’s the fine print: “The name and address on the membership must match that of the purchaser. This offer cannot be purchased as a gift.” So sorry for the confusion – thanks Ang for pointing that out!!
Update: Next week, the Bellevue Kids’ Quest Children’s Museum will be on sale for 1/2 price thru Savvy Source – so make sure to look for that then! I’ll post it as soon as I know it’s live! Thanks to Kids Quest for letting me know!
If you plan on going to the Seattle Children’s Museum at least 2 or more times this year (or less depending on how many children are in your family) – you’ll want to check out this special deal going on for 2 days only! Â You can buy a one year membership to the Seattle Children’s Museum for your entire family for just $40!! This price is normally $75 – so it’s a savings of $35 (47% discount). Â This price includes admission for 2 adults and ALL dependent children {so if you have a big family, then this is really an awesome deal!} Go HERE to buy this membership! Â {If you’re a grandparent or other relative & never know what to buy for kids’ birthday gifts – this is an awesome idea for a gift!! Creating memories as a family is such a special gift to give children!}
I checked it out for our fa mily of four to see if it’s worth it for us as we usually go several times a year. The admission price  for the museum is $7.50 for adults & children (1 and over), so that’s $30 for all 4 of us to go just one time. We have used Entertainment book coupons when we’ve gone (which is a 2 for 1 admission), so that would drop it down to $22.50.  So, this is still an awesome deal for us to buy this annual family membership for $40 if we want to go several times throughout the year!
This deal is thru a parenting website called Savvy Source, which runs limited special offers like this in select areas for family friendly activities & events.  Even better, when you purchase this membership, you can choose a preschool or school in the greater Seattle area to receive 5% of the sales.  Also, 5% of all sales will go into a general “Preschool for All” scholarship fund for low-income families.
What’s included in your 1 year family membership pass:
- Unlimited 1 year admission for 2 adults living at the same physical address and all dependent children
- 2 for 1 coupons for participating NW museums
- 4 free 1 time guest passes
- 10% discount on parties, classes, workshops, etc
- 10% discount in the Children’s Museum store
Discounts for Other Areas:
If you don’t live in the Seattle area, Savvy Source also offers special discounts on family-friendly activities for these cities: San Francisco, Los Angeles, & Dallas/Ft Worth area.
This is GREAT! :) Thanks
This is a great deal, but just an FYI- it says it cannot be purchased as a gift. “The name and address on the membership must match that of the purchaser.”
Next week, KidsQuest Children’s Museum in Bellevue will be 50% off!
Awesome – thanks Catherine! Just updated the post to share that & will look for it next week!
Thank you!! I’m getting it now!
