Can you imagine not having clean water to drink? I myself am a big water drinker (it’s about all I order at restaurants-for the taste & the price ;) ) and I think there’s nothing better than cold, filtered water! I just can’t imagine living in a developing, 3rd world country where the water is unsafe & dangerous to drink! I had no idea that 4000 children die every day from illness & disease due to the unsafe drinking water conditions in their countries.  I can’t imagine how difficult that must be for the moms who know that the water is unsafe for their kids but have no other options!

So, PUR Water Filtration, along with its not-for-profit partner, the Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program (CSDW), is trying to do its part to alleviate this global crisis by providing clean drinking water to those in need.

First off, they are partnering with “Summit on the Summit” (SOTS), a celebrity climb on Mt Kilimanjaro featuring Jessica Biel, Alexander Cousteau & others who will raise awareness & funds for clean drinking water efforts. Go HERE to find out more about this Summit!

PUR is also teaming up with customers to provide clean drinking water to developing countries.  Here’s how you can help:

-When you buy a PUR water filtration system, you’re helping your family get cleaner water by removing many of the contaminants found in water.  You’ll also save money if you then switch from bottled water to filtered water using reusable bottles (up to $600/yr) as well as protect the earth (by eliminating up to 3200 plastic bottles).

-You will also be helping another family across the world with your purchase of a PUR filter: 1 filter purchase = 1 week of clean drinking water thru the CSDW
