*Update: If you’re new to Get My Perks, you can use the coupon code: SPREE to get 25% off your purchase, which will bring the price down to just $15 for a $40 voucher!! Thanks Frugal Living NW!
This weekend, Old Country Buffet is offering $.99 kid meals from 5-8pm through Monday May 27th, 2013. The prices range from $1.99 – $4.99, so this can be a nice savings. We headed there last night & it saved us $6 between our two girls. It’s just a little treat for our girls to go as they love to be able to make their own ice cream sundaes (I made a banana split – haven’t had one of those since I was a kid). Kids also eat for $.99 on Thursdays during family night. Family nights often have other fun events – last night, we were at the location in Kent & they had a guy doing balloon animals for the kids and they had cotton candy for the kids. My kiddos definitely got their sugar quotient for the week! ;)
And just a quick reminder that you can get a $40 gift card for just $20 for Hometown Buffet (or one of the chains, Old Country Buffet, etc) from Get My Perks right now through Portland. They did sell out yesterday from Seattle, but they still have over 300 gift cards left if you select “Portland” as your city. It does say “Hometown Buffet” but these come as $10 gift cards (so you would receive 4 $10 gift cards) and the cards say they can be used at the following locations:
- Old Country Buffet
- Hometown Buffet
- Country Buffet
- Ryan’s Buffet
- Fire Mountain Buffet
There is a limit of 2 deals per person (so you could pay $40 and get $80 in gift cards). You do need to make sure you follow the “How to Redeem” instructions so you can get these gift cards by mail:
Request to have gift cards mailed to you by emailing [email protected] and providing your mailing address. Please allow 3-5 business days if requesting your gift cards to be mailed to you.
Sia and I both bought the gift cards from the Portland site and already received our cards (see the picture above) just by sending a quick email as they suggest. You can then use the gift cards anytime with no expiration date, at any of the locations listed above.
Since we went to Old Country last night on the Kids Eat for $.99 night, our total was around $28, so we used 3 $10 gift cards and still have 1 $10 gift card left. So that means we paid just $20 (instead of the $28 we would have paid) + have $10 more to spend at Old Country Buffet – great deal when you combine the 50% off savings with the gift card + the $.99 kids meals!
