The Museum of Flight in Seattle is offering FREE admission to the museum for all visitors on Saturday April 16th as a thank you to the community for their support. This was announced on the Museum of Flight’s Facebook page. This is after news that NASA’s Full Fuselage Trainer will be coming to the Museum of Flight & the exhibit will most likely be opening in Spring 2012. This is the simulator where every shuttle astronaut prepared for flight and visitors will be able to walk inside. The Museum of Flight was in the running to receive one of the retired Space Shuttles; however, other museums around the country ended up getting the shuttles.
This is a great chance to check out the museum as it normally costs $16/per adult & $9/ children (ages 5-19). Sounds like a fun, frugal way to spend the day on Saturday, especially if the weather continues to be miserable.
