Giveaway – Memory Foam Pillow & Pillow Protector!

One Thrifty NW Mom reader will win a Tempur-Pedic Tempur – Comfort pillow, plus a luxury Pillow Protector from Protect-a-Bed!  The pillow and protector is supplied by Mattress Discounters and Protect-A-Bed! I have a child with Asthma and Allergies, and can tell you that I sleep much better at night knowing my kids have pillow protectors on. They really have helped!

Here’s a little more information for you about the Protect A Bed Pillow Protector:

Protect-A-Bed pillow protectors are completely all-natural made out of Eucalyptus based fibers and without use of any pesticides, which are supposed to be much softer than cotton, making the covers soft & silky {I don’t know about you, but I am not a fan of the crunchy pillow protectors.  These Eucalyptus based fibers are able to keep moisture away from the surface of your pillow to keep it cleaner and drier, which also helps to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. However, the protectors also have a Miracle Membrane which protects against dust mites, liquids and other irritants which can really affect those with allergies or asthma. They say that the Protect a Bed pillow protectors are especially helpful as well for people with sensitive skin or skin disorders such as excema. All of the pillow protectors are machine washable and tumble dry. These Protect A Bed pillow protectors range from $29.99 – $39.99 for standard – king size. They also have a 5 year warranty for the pillows.

The winner of this giveaway will also receive a Tempur-Pedic Memory Foam Pillow provided by Mattress Discounters. This pillow has the standard shape yet inside it’s filled with Tempur micro-cushions to help support your head and relieve pressure better. This pillow is great for those who are back, side and stomach sleepers. They come with a 3 year limited warranty and are regularly priced at $159 for a queen pillow.

If you’ve never been to a Mattress Discounter store, they have stores located around the Pacific Northwest (WA, OR & ID), as well as California and Nevada. If you’re looking for any Tempurpedic products, they are an Exclusive Elite Retailer, which means you’ll find an excellent selection of Tempurpedic mattresses and products at great discounts.

  1. De-clutter to de-stress.
I “like” the Mattress Discounters and Protect-A-Bed page.

  2. I like the declutter thing, I started this weekend but this motivated me to finish…so much stuff gets set aside til later because your tired

  3. I vacuum my mattress. I know it sounds weird, but it’s gross how much stuff comes out of it!

  4. My favorite tip from the image above was to wipe down every week… I’m horrible about remembering that!

  5. Ditching the dust collecting items like figurines might be good for our dust-free routine.

  6. It’s time to put up the “black out curtains”…as it stays brighter longer the dark rooms help everyone sleep better :-)

  7. My favorite “Spring Cleaning” tip for my sleep routine is “Wash more than just your sheets.” I love fresh sheets, makes me sleep better :)

  8. I’ve owned this pillow for years and love it! My spring cleaning always includes clean sheets for four beds every couple weeks or if one of the kiddos has an accident or spills food or…a protector would be handy!

  9. I love to declutter and get rid of extra things in our room and the dust collectors! I love cleaning out drawers and closets too. :)

  11. The side tables only have a lamp and a clock. It makes it easier to dust. And I make the bed everyday. It feels so zen to come a clean bed.

  12. I love the decluttering tip. I can’t sleep well when there is clutter everywhere. I swear I dream about cleaning it up!!

  13. I like the tip “ditch the dust collectors!” My idea of spring cleaning is to de-clutter and now I know what’s on my list to donate!

  14. My spring cleaning tip is if you are going to clean everything else don’t forget under the bed. It is amazing how much dust collects under a bed even when the space is filled with storage bins.

  15. I love to wipe down weekly, it’s nice to get everything shiny and clean :)

  16. My favorite tip is: Dust and clean weekly, even if it doesn’t look like it needs it, especially if you have allergies, which I do

  17. I love to have fresh pillow cases misted with some Lavendar spray from Bath and Body works.
