This spring has been a busy children’s consignment season time, especially this year as there are a number of Just Between Friends sales happening all over the Northwest.  The Just Between Friends sales are very popular, high-quality children’s consignment sales found around the country.   These sales are such a great time to stock up on spring and summer clothes.  It’s also a fantastic opportunity to make some extra cash selling items that your children have outgrown while you’re doing your spring cleaning.  These sales run all the way through mid May around Washington, Oregon and Idaho (as well as other locations around the country – you can find a location near you on their website)

Sia and I both had the opportunity to have a table at the Seattle/Renton Just Between Friends sale this past weekend and we both scored some awesome deals. I found 7 clothing items (all Gymboree brand, very gently used) & 2 books all for just $20. That’s an average of around $2.25/item. Definitely a great way to purchase items for your kids to use now or to shop for future sizes.  I was there when they opened their doors on Friday morning and saw all the large baby equipment items that moms and dads were finding and boy, there were some great deals – swings, strollers, pack ‘n plays, bouncers, cute little wagons or trikes and so much more! These moms knew exactly what they were looking for & picked up those items quickly, so if you’re looking for the best selection of large items, get their quickly, although they still had quite a bit left when I left Friday afternoon.  Everything was so well organized, too – all the games, toys, books & more were all organized in different tables so it was very easy to see what you were looking for – whether it was an educational toy from Leapfrog, puzzles, or character dolls and more! The best part about these sales is that everything you need for kids is all under one roof, so it saves you time & gas money.

If you want to be a consignor to make some cash for your children’s clothes, shoes, baby equipment and more – then make sure to check out the Just Between Friends website for the sale near you as soon as possible to get signed up and if you missed the date for this year’s sale, make sure to get on their list for the fall. Consignors can earn up to 70% off and if you volunteer to help at the sale, you could earn back even more.

Make sure to check out the websites for the full details as there are special start times for first time parents, military parents, foster parents & more; however, you will have to pre-register as they typically only have a certain number of spots for people to come during the earlier start times.
