Albertsons Closing 7 Stores in WA & OR
News just broke yesterday that 7 stores in WA & OR will be closing their doors starting as early as this Friday. The stores included in the closures will be in Tacoma and University Place along with Bothell and Vancouver WA, and Albany and Pendleton OR. Liquidation sales start this Friday, and the doors will finally be closed as soon as Feb. 20, 2014.
Albertsons that haven’t been profitable in the Northwest are getting the axe. The more profitable stores have been remodeled.
The Northwest took a pretty big hit almost two years ago with quite a few Albertsons closures. My local Albies included.
