  1. This is the first valentine’s day that my daughter will kind of understand – so no traditions yet. I will be starting one though of heart shaped pancakes and little treats throughout the day.

  2. Start off by making heart pancakes with strawberries and whip cream for all my daughters and hubby… and then they go into their valentine decorated playroom (heart garland, streamers, and balloons). They also do a scavenger hunt with heart/love theme to find something special from their valentines (mom and dad). And since they got one for Christmas, they will get to make a Valentine’s day treat on their easy bake oven. :-) My husband and I – nothing special… more for the girls.

  3. My mom would make cut out my sandwiches with a heart shaped cookie cutter for my school lunch. My FAVORITE part of V-day as a kid was going to Fred Meyer to pick out my pack of valentines for school. I couldn’t wait to go home and address them for my classmates!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. I think scavenger hunts are a super fun Valentine’s Day event for kids and adults alike, and they are easy to personalize!

  5. we’re traditional and like to go for a dinner and a movie. this year, i really want to watch “valentine’s day”. :)

  6. We usually get away for the weekend. I love it when we go snowmobiling and then go to the hotsprings. If you haven’t went to gold fork outside of Cascade it is wonderful place to relax. You can even bring your own cooler in with you with drinks and food.

  7. My favorite part of Valentine’s Day is doing craft with the kids. My daughter is at the stage where she just LOVES crafts. I love all of the pink and red themed ideas. I love to bake.. although I am not great at it. We made some adorable cup cakes with the liners that I received as a review product!!

Thanks for the giveaway opportunity! I LOVE chocolate covered strawberries from Godiva!!!

  8. My hubby does the sweetest thing on Valentine’s day. He is always up and out the door before I wake up in the morning. On Valentine’s day, when I open my eyes, he always has flowers, chocolates, a card, and a gift sitting on my bedside table waiting for me! Yes, I’m a lucky girl:)

  9. Every year the kids and I make homemade valentines for my husband. Every year it is different, but my favorite was valentine cookie cards.

  10. My husband and I always try and get each other something small and thoughtful. Like a nice card and a framed picture.

  11. Growing up I remember every Valentine’s Day morning we had to search the house for our gift from Cupid. It was always fun.

  12. We typically try not to spend to much money for Valentine’s Day so I try to make a favorite dinner that everyone likes…not always easy!…then we watch a movie and I like to make little notes for all my kids and have them on their bedside tables so they find them either when they wake up or before they go to bed. Just a reminder to them on how much I love and cherish them.
    Thanks for the chance!!

  13. My son and I make Valentine’s each year to give to his papa and his grandparents. I have saved the ones he has made for his paper and have put them in his scrapbooks.

  14. This is a new tradition for us, my 3 yr old and I are going to pick out Valentines cards for his new classmates as he just started school! He is so excited!

  15. I like to make handmade valentines and heart shaped sugar cookies. And I became a follower, joined shop at home and became a fan on fb!

  17. I love to write love notes to my husband and kids and send it to the post master to have it stamped with love stamps and sent back just in time for V-day!

  18. We don’t really have any Valentine’s Day traditions, but I did make my hubby a card the very first Valentines that we were dating. I believe he still has it, too. :-) Other than that maybe he’ll buy me some chocolates or flowers….

  19. Godiva has a great Valentine’s Day site where you can send free virtual Valentines (and get a chance to win chocolate). I’m supporting this promo and want to give the love! Check out the Godiva Give Love Giveaway.
