Groupon for the Seattle area has an awesome deal for couponers!! You can get the Sunday Seattle Times delivered to your house for 26 weeks for just $20!! That’s just 77 cents an issue! This offer is only good today so you’ll want to make sure to take advantage of it soon as they’ve already sold over 1700 subscriptions by this afternoon & it could sell out!  Just remember that the Seattle Times does not carry the Red Plum inserts, but they do occasionally have coupons that other papers (such as the Tacoma News Tribune do not have) such as the Hasbro toy coupons that came out about a month or two ago & some Smartsource coupons. This is a great way to make sure that you’re covered on all the coupons for this area.

Here’s the fine print about this Groupon deal:

  • Expires Jan 15, 2011 – you must activate subscription by this date
  • The promotion will end 26 weeks from the activation date
  • This is for New Subscribers only (which typically means you haven’t had a subscription for 30 days)
  • Limit 1 per person, may buy multiple as gifts.
  • Delivery valid for King, Snohomish, Pierce, and Kitsap counties.

  1. Hi!
I usually get the Times and was just curious…what would you say is the best newspaper to get for coupons? I live is south snohomish county if that helps.

  2. Christine – I think the Everett Herald would have all the coupon inserts you’re looking for if you want just one subscription. The Seattle Times doesn’t have the Red Plum, but it does occasionally get coupons that the Herald may not get. But, you may get the Red Plum coupons by mail? So, in that case, you’re probably good with the Times.
