Cool Whip Baking Basket Giveaway

With New Years Eve coming up in just a few days, you may be debating about what kind of dessert to bring to a New Years Eve party or gathering.  A great resource for dessert recipes is Kraft’s Cool Whip website, where they offer recipes for every season & holiday.  You can find a whole list of great pie & dessert recipes for New Years Eve.

Kraft sent me a basket filled with all sorts of goodies so we could try out some of Cool Whip’s fun holiday recipes.  One of the recipes we tried was the Easy Tiramisu Pie. We love Tiramisu in our house and this looked like a quick & easy recipe to try. My hubby & daughter actually made this & it was simple yet tasty!

Most of these recipes are quite frugal, too –  using ingredients that you likely have on hand & items that have been on sale with steep discounts & coupons the last month or two. I’ve still got quite a stock of Cool Whip from when it was free  after coupons this summer at Albertson’s.

Here are a few of the other recipes that I’d like to try:

2) Subscribe to the Thrifty NW Mom feed via a reader of your choice or email (must be verified) or become a Google follower.

3) Head over to the Thrifty NW Mom Facebook page & “like” the page. Leave a comment saying you did this. If you already “like” Thrifty NW Mom’s Facebook page, you can comment & say that.

    Cool whip should be the main ingredient in any dish! I do enjoy a little pumpkin pie with mine this time of year… more cool whip – less pie.

  7. My favorite go to dessert from Cool Whip is Mix and Match Pudding Pie. It is extremely versatile, quick and allows for creativity, and the kids love to help make it!

  9. I love cool-whip and have made many recipes with it. The one that is my favorite for this time of year is Snow-Capped Chocolate Pie. Snow snow everywhere but this “snow” tastes the best :) It is super fast to make and is yummy. I know my 2 1/2 year old even loves helping make this one.

  10. The Chocolate Mousse Torte looks like it’s gonna be a hit for the chocolate lovers in my family (even though our son & daughter like eat Cool Whip by itsself)

  11. we love pistachio “fluff” which is just pistachio pudding mix, cool whip and a can of crushed pineapple. so yum!

  13. my fav cool whip dessert is made with oreos, peanut butter, cream cheese and all kinds of gooey goodness. We call it chocolate peanut butter delight!

  14. The Creamy 2 Layer Pumpkin Pie is awesome! It’s a family favorite and so easy to make. Every time we have a new guest for Thanksgiving they beg me for the recipe.
