UPS My Choice + $100 American Express Gift Card Giveaway

For many of us, we have moved to doing a lot of our shopping online versus in the stores, since it’s so much more convenient, we can earn cash-back on our purchases, & we often can find even better deals online with coupon codes & free shipping offers. This increased online shopping also means that we are also getting a lot more packages delivered, which means we need to worry about being home when they are delivered. If you are ordering more expensive items such as electronics, jewelry, & more, you don’t want to take a chance on your item being left outside on your porch for hours. UPS is responding to this increased shopping online by offering a new customizable delivery service for residential households called UPS My Choice.

UPS My Choice helps avoid the disappointment and hassle of missing a home delivery by allowing consumers to take control of their UPS deliveries. When you sign up for the FREE membership (the basic membership is free), you will receive phone, e-mail or text alerts notifying you a day in advance of when packages will arrive and providing a four-hour approximate delivery time frame.  They also have the option to electronically authorize release of packages that require a signature and, for a $5 transaction fee, to reroute a package to another delivery address or have it delivered to the nearest The UPS Store® location.

You could also opt for the UPS My Choice Premium Membership, which is available for a $40 annual subscription.  It provides all the benefits of a regular UPS My Choice membership at no additional cost and in addition, members gain access to an online delivery calendar that shows the status of UPS home deliveries. Premium members also are offered a two-hour delivery window. A $5 transaction fee is charged only upon successful delivery of the package within the two-hour commitment.

If you sign up as a Premium member, you can even provide your UPS driver with detailed instructions on where to leave a package. You would just select from a drop-down list of location options like — leave it at the Side Door…the Garage…on the Porch…in the Management Office of my apartment complex or the Shed out back.
