Just got back from Target. The checker wouldn't adjust my coupon so I could purchase the BIC razors (they were actually $2.99 here). I left the lane, looked up Target's coupon policy online with my smart phone (love it!) and then got back into line. Told her that the store's policy allows the change in the coupon (she wouldn't look at my phone), she called over a supervisor who said they couldn't do it b/c they can't give money back. I said I didn't want $ back (1 cent???) and that is not what the coupon states. He asked if I wanted to speak to a manager, I did. He talked to someone over his walkie-talkie. Couldn't hear what was said but I am discouraged b/c I think the manager told him to just adjust the coupon, like the customer is always right attitude, but I suspect if I tried it again I would have to go through all of this again. Very frustrating!
