Today Only – Tuesday April 13th:
26 Sunday papers for just $26 – 1 Sunday paper/wk delivered for 26 weeks = $1/day
Thanks to a tip from FB Fan Tara it looks like the Tacoma News Tribune is having a special one-day special today only!! This is for new subscribers or those who haven’t had an active subscription in 30 days.
If you call the Tacoma News Tribune subscription line, you can receive a deal to receive 26 Sunday papers (1 Sunday paper a week for 26 weeks) for just $26. That’s $1/per Sunday . I did a similar deal last year, where I payed $52 for 52 wks (1 Sunday paper/wk for a year).
{Note: Make sure you tell them to cancel your subscription after the 26 wks – otherwise they will charge you the full rate & continue service with a “grace” period. I just found this out for myself as my subscription was over a month ago, but I kept getting papers & wondered what was going on. The clerk told me that you need to tell them ahead of time to cancel or mark it on your calendar to cancel at the end!}
You can buy the Sunday paper at the Dollar Store or Walmart for just $1, but this will save you a trip, if you want to get just 1 copy on Sundays. I would get my Sunday paper each week by subscription and then I receive 2 sets of inserts from my neighbor each week (what a blessing! They just put it over the fence in a plastic bag every Sun evening/Monday). So, then I’d only need to head out to get 1 additional newspaper if it’s a good week!
{Tip: I recommend getting at least 4 copies of the paper each week to best take advantage of the weekly grocery/drugstore deals, especially Buy 1 Get 1 Free deals & Catalina deals -which often require multiple purchases to receive catalina! }
I’ll be sharing several ways to organize your coupons and/or inserts later this week with detailed pictures, so stay tuned!

Are you using the News Tribune solely for coupons or do you purchase the Seattle paper as well?
Jessica-I purchase just the TNT, but I do receive the Seattle Times coupons, too, from my neighbor. And I’ve found that there are differences every now & then. So, I think it is worth it to purchase both papers & if you notice a difference (better coupon in 1 paper versus the other), then you can go out & buy more of that paper. I did find that recently that the 1 of the papers had the Hasbro inserts while the other one didn’t (I’m thinking it was the Times that had it while the TNT didn’t).
Thanks for the heads up on this awesome deal! It’s GREAT to be able to get a Sunday paper for 50% off the newsstand price!!
The same discount applies to the Olympian in Olympia…they are co-owned, and I signed up for it and am loving it!
Thanks for letting us know that, Jim!
