National Park Fee Free day will be this Saturday, September 29th!
This Fee Free Day, is in celebration of National Public Lands Day, and the National Park Service is waiving entrance fees at 100 national parks. These parks generally charge entrance and parking fees, but they will be FREE this Saturday!
If you want to volunteer in support of National Public Lands Day, you can earn a coupon for FREE entrance on another day! Each fee-free coupon is good for one day of entrance fees or day use fees until Saturday, September 28, 2013. At some public lands, this can include accompanying passengers in a car. The coupons cannot be used for parking, camping, tours or concessions.
If you are not able to take advantage of this weeks fee free days, there will be others this year. They are:
- November 10-12 – Veterans Day weekend
