Did you know that September is National Coupon Month? This hopefully means some great high-value coupons from manufacturers & stores all month long. We are also teaming up with Savings.com & Valpak for some fun events planned to celebrate “Save-tember”.
Grocery Budget Makeover Contest:
Starting even before September has started, Savings is kicking things off with a Grocery Budget Makeover Contest. You will have the opportunity to submit a video sharing about why you need a grocery budget makeover! All you need to do is be a fan of the Savings Nation Facebook page & follow the instructions to submit your video. The videos will be voted on & the ten with the most votes will become finalists. A Savings Nation panel of experts will choose 3 of the top 10 videos to receive a personal grocery shopping trip with a Savings Nation Ambassador (which could be Sia & I if you live in the NW). You will also receive a gift card valued between $100 – $200.
National Coupon Month Events – Webcast, Twitter parties & Facebook Chat
Wednesday, September 5th: Grocery Savings 101 Live Facebook Chat - At 6 pm pst on Wednesday, September 5th, we’ll be holding a live chat on the Savings.com Facebook page on the topic of Grocery Savings 101. Head over and like Savings.com so you’re ready to learn the tips and tricks for saving money in the grocery store.
Monday September 10th: Live Q&A Webcast from Valpak Headquarters - Five fellow Savings Nation Ambassadors are heading down to Largo, Florida in a couple of weeks to spend some touring the headquarters of Valpak. While there, they will be leading a live Q&A webcast! They will be sharing some of their best saving tips, and taking questions live from the viewing audience. The webcast will happen at 11am pst – make sure to check out all the details about the Live Q&A at Valpak.
Thursday September 20th: Go Crazy with Coupons for National Coupon Month (NCM) Twitter Party - At 6 pm pst on Thursday, September 20th, @savings will be hosting a NCM themed Twitter party. During the party, we’ll talk about all things savings and coupons, and they’ll be giving away some great prizes. We’ll be using hashtags #SavingsNation and #NCM12 and we will share a link when it’s live.
Synchronized Coupon Workshops on or near September 24th:
As an exciting end to National Coupon Month, 19 Savings Nation Ambassadors will be teaching “synchronized” Savings Nation workshops all across the country. The bulk of the classes will be happening on the 24th, but a few more will be happening later in the week. Check out the full list of classes.
