Groupon is offering a Gondola ride for 2 over the Spokane River, for just $7. If you took advantage of the $99 rates available at the Davenport hotel (available for 2 more days), this might be a nice add on! We took this ride a couple of summers ago, and it was pretty. Its about a 15 minute venture, and would normally cost you $15 for the two tickets (53% off)!
If your not from the Spokane area you can find more about the SkyRide and Riverfront park here. Its full of lots of free or low cost things to do! I have only been in the summer, but my family had a great time.

My family (2 adults and 2 pre-teens) rode this gondola while visiting Spokane and all four of us were very disappointed. Maybe it is better to ride in the spring when the water is rushing (we went in August) but we wished we could have our money back on this one. Not far away is the garbage eating goat -kids loved that and it was free plus there were some cool photo ops with a giant red flyer wagon and alphabet blocks.
