I sincerely apologize. I never intended it to be unkind.
Nor do I feel my child is any more special because we are choosing to home school. Many families choose to do so for a myriad of different reasons all specific to their own circumstances. Although I am learning very quickly not to mention it to those who don't know us because of the misunderstandings and criticism we receive. Sorry Thrify NW Mom for sharing.

I don't think that was very kind at all. I hope that you don't teach your child to point out other's imperfections. Not very nice at all.

CUTE little things to do for the kiddo's! I was always SO excited for the first day of school. Maybe it was the new clothes I was excited about.

BTW: I hope your super special home schooled kids don't make a habit of pointing out others mistakes to make themselves feel special. :) he he

Even though we are starting homeschooling this fall, I'm still hoping to start/continue many of these 1st day traditions. :)
BTW: I find it hilarious that the mom misspelled the word "your" in her lunchbox note! :) Hope her son doesn't have a spelling test with that word on it! he he
