Walgreens – Possible FREE Purex!!

Ooh, this is a *hot* deal if you have still have Purex coupons from last Sunday.  Walgreens has a sale going on this week on Purex 2x liquid detergent (Mountain Breeze or Natural Elements Linen) -50 oz size.  This sale is actually going on all month long on a mega-saver sale.  If you have the Purex Buy 1, Get 1 Free coupon from the 2/21 Red Plum insert (last week), you should be able to get this FREE at your local Walgreens!

Here’s the scenario:

Purex 2x liquid detergent, 50 oz size (Mountain Breeze or Natural Elements Linen) – Buy 1 at $5.99 – Get 1 Free

Use {1} B1G1 free Purex coupon from 2/21 Red Plum insert

Final Price: FREE

{If you don’t have any left of this coupon or want more, you might want to think about buying the 2/21 B1G1 free coupon on Ebay or a coupon clipping site such as Coupon Clippers. This coupon does expire Sat 3/6-so you’d need to use it this week. If you order today, you should get it Thurs or Fri (at least that’s been my experience the few times I’ve ordered from Coupon Clippers).

The question is whether your Walgreens will let you use a B1G1 free coupon on a B1G1 free sale.  I have always had luck at my stores being able to do this and I just called my local store & the manager said that it’s worth trying, to see if it will work. He didn’t have a problem, if the coupon was accepted by their registers. However, other stores may give you a problem with this.  Someone on Hip2Save’s site emailed Walgreens & got an email back, which sounded like they would allow 1 coupon (even if it’s “B1G1 free”) to be used on a B1G1 free sale. However, they would not allow 2 single coupons to be used since you’re already getting the one item free (does that make sense?).

So, I will be heading out soon to try this. I missed out on the Fred Meyer deal since they pulled the catalina deal early…so I could use some more detergent & FREE is awesome!  Let us know if you try this deal & how it works for you!!

Walgreens – Huggies Diapers as low as $2.99

UPDATE: As of today, Tues 2/09, this deal is “rolling” -which means that you can purchase another pack of Huggies diaper using the Register Reward (RR) from the previous purchase. This is typically not allowed with Walgreens Register Rewards (typically you can only use RR on different products/manufacturers).  Not sure if this will last all week where they are “rolling” – but it’s worth trying. Make sure  you add an extra filler item so you have the same # of items per coupon & RR.

Walgreens will have the Huggies Jumbo Packs on sale for $8.99.  You will then get a $3 Register Reward (this prints off from the register after you have completed your transaction; you can then use on a future purchase, although it will not work to buy more Huggies diapers).

MORE Kraft Coupons & $1/1 Starbucks Coupon

Wow, there are even MORE Kraft coupons available!! It turns out that the Kraft website actually has TWO pages of Supervalu Coupons for Game Day! You can go HERE to this new link to print your coupons (you’ll find a few new coupons, too – $1/1 Starbucks 12 oz bag of coffee & $1/2 Breakstone or Knudsen Sour Cream).

If you’re having trouble printing the Kraft coupons – then here’s what to do:

-Go to the home page of Kraft & sign up or login to your acct.
-Click on “Kraft Products” (upper right hand corner)
-You will then see 2 links for Supervalu coupons on the left side – go thru each page and print all the coupons (make sure to hit the back arrow, refresh, and print them again).

It turns out that Kraft Deluxe Mac & Cheese is on sale this week at Walgreens 2/$3 -so if you use the $1/2 Kraft Deluxe Mac & Cheese coupon – then these will be $1 each.  Let us know if you find other places to use these  coupons and I’ll be watching for match-ups to great sales!
