Cheap Hasbro Games – Toys R Us & Target
March 14, 2010

I received an email this afternoon from Toys R Us saying that their Deal of the Day is Buy 1 Get 1 FREE card games tomorrow, Monday March 15th only!! This will pair up quite nicely with our Hasbro game coupon for the Monopoly card game.
Also, some areas received a Buy 2, Get 1 Hasbro card game free coupon in your USA Weekend or Parade magazine insert in your Sunday paper today. The coupon will work on these games: Yahtzee Hands Down, Mille Bornes,Monopoly Deal, Sorry Revenge and Scrabble Slam. Thanks for the tip, Marie!
{I checked both the Seattle Times & Tacoma News Tribune & didn’t see it, but make sure to check yours to see if you’re in the NW.}
If you did get this coupon, here’s a scenario for Toys R Us tomorrow 3/15:
Buy 4 Monopoly Card Games – $5.99 ea
Use 1 Buy 2, Get 1 FREE coupon from USA Wknd or Parade magazine 3/14 insert
Use 1 $5/1 Monopoly printable coupon
Final Price = $.99/for four games or $.24/each
Target:
Buy 2 Monopoly Deal card games – $5.24/ea
Buy 1 Scrabble Slam Card Game – $5.24/ea
Use {2} $5/1 Monopoly printable coupons from Hasbro
Use {1} Buy 2 Get1 FREE Hasbro Game coupon (from Parade/USA wknd insert)
Final Price: $.48 for all 3 games OR $.16/each
*Remember some of the Monopoly card games may have the $5 off Hasbro game coupon inside as well, so you can keep doing this deal if you have more of the Parade/USA wknd coupons.

Pictureka Flipper & Monopoly Card Game = $2.66 Total w/coupons
March 12, 2010

I just got back from Target and found a great new clearance find – Pictureka Flipper was on clearance for $7.42 (it was on an end cap as well as in the regular game section at my Target). It’s normally over $15. I was able to use a $5 off Hasbro game coupon which I received inside one of the card games I’d bought last month. The final price was just $2.42!! Great price!! I’m going to use as a birthday gift or save for a Christmas gift.
Here’s a scenario you can use:
(if you have coupons that haven’t expired from last month’s Hasbro game coupons, then you should have the $5 off Pictureka coupon. Mine had expired on 3/7, though, so I couldn’t use that one)

1st transaction:
Buy the Monopoly Card Game – $5.24
Use $5 off printable Monopoly coupon HERE
Final Price: $.24
*Inside this game you should find a $5 off coupon on select Hasbro games (it will be marked on the outside, so make sure the one you picked is marked)
2nd transaction:
Buy the Pictureka Flipper Game for $7.42
Use the $5 off Hasbro game coupon (from inside the Monopoly card game)
Final Price: $2.42
So, you’ll end up with the Pictureka Flipper & the Monopoly Card game for a total of $2.66 (+tax). Wow!!

The Princess & the Frog DVD- $10 off Coupon
March 11, 2010

Next Tuesday, March 16th is the day that The Princess and the Frog movie is being released to stores! There is now a $10 off coupon good for the Deluxe DVD/Blu-Ray combo. There is a coupon for US only and a coupon for Canada only (make sure to print off the correct one). Target will have the deluxe Blu-Ray version priced at $26.99 (including an exclusive Princess Tiana purse). I haven’t heard yet how much it will cost at Walmart, but it should be similar in price (and they most likely will have an exclusive item as well, although we don’t know what that will be yet).
There are also 2 mail-in rebate offers you can combine with the coupon for an even better deal on the movie:
1) $5 rebate – Buy 2 boxes of band-aids and The Princess & the Frog DVD & get a $5 rebate by mail. Go HERE to download the form. Expires June 30th. {Remember you can get bandaids for FREE at Target right now)
2) $5 rebate – Buy any roll of FrogTape multi-surface (24mm, 36mm, or 48mm) painters tape and The Princess & the Frog DVD and get a $5 rebate by mail. Go HERE to print off the rebate form. Expires May 31st.
*Both of these mail-in rebates allow for photocopies of the Princess & Frog receipt & requires a proof of purchase tab (the movie will have 2 proof of purchase tabs). You also do not need to purchase the item & movie on the same receipt. Therefore, you could submit both of these rebates!
Final Price for the Deluxe Princess and the Frog Blu-Ray/DVD combo will be $6.99 at Target (including the Princess Tiana purse) if you use the $10 off coupon AND the 2 mail-in rebates!! Wow, now that is a deal!!
I’ll try to update this when I hear what the Walmart price/exclusive item will be. Let us know if you hear of any other great deals where we could use this coupon!
**There is also a $10 off coupon for the movie “Old Dogs” on this site as well, if you’re interested in this movie!!
Thanks Couponing to Disney & reader Janae!

Clearance Sales – Target & Fred Meyer
February 25, 2010
Have you all been checking out the clearance sales I told you about? I haven’t been able to check it out yet myself (still have had sick kiddos – my little one was diagnosed with RSV, a respiratory virus, over the weekend, but thankfully she is doing so much better & past the contagious stage), so I will be checking this out soon!
I’m hearing from readers that they are finding some great deals both at Target & Fred Meyer. Target is reported to have their bulk sections now at 50% off (this may vary by stores) with some items as much as 75% off.

One item to look for in the bulk section at Target: Mr Potato Head Multi-packs which may be on clearance for $4.24. Use this $2 off coupon & you’ll only pay $2.24 for a multipack. {I didn’t see these at my Target last week, but let us know if you find them at your store). Thanks Hip2Save!
Fred Meyer is also continuing their 70% off clothing, shoe & accessories sale thru this Saturday 2/27, so make sure to head in there to find some awesome deals!
Let us know what you’ve been finding at these clearance sales!

NEW Target Mobile Coupons
February 4, 2010
Target is now offering coupons available thru your mobile device, sent as text messages. The text message will contain a barcode which you can use directly at checkout for a one-time use. Tthis is a new offering, so it will be interesting to see what kinds of coupons they have available. It sounds like these will be Target store coupons that could then be paired with manufacturer coupons – but we’ll have to wait to find out more details. You’ll want to make sure you have unlimited text as it could be a number of text emails you receive.
Here’s what Target has to say:
Get your monthly offers via text message with a link to a barcode that can be scanned at checkout. The same barcode can be used for multiple one-time-only coupon deals throughout the month. Offers always arrive on a Sunday.
You can also sign up to receive the Target Weekly Ads and their Daily Deals sent to your mobile phone as well. There is also a Target iPhone App.
Find out all the details & sign up for these text alerts & coupons HERE.
I’m definitely excited about the possibility of not having to print quite as many coupons -and if you happen to forget your coupons one day while you’re in the store – you’ll have some options right on your phone!
Thanks Couponing to Disney!
