Wow, there’s a *hot* new coupon that was released today! This coupon is for $5 off when you buy 5 select Kraft cheese or dairy products.  When you use your coupon, Kraft will then donate 5 meals to Feeding America.  Make sure to hit the back arrow, refresh & print 2 coupons.

If you live near an Albertsons store, this coupon will pair up great with a sale starting today so you  can get FREE cheese – here’s how it will work:

Buy {5} Kraft Brick or Shredded Cheese  - $2/ea
Use the $5/5 printable Kraft coupon
Pay $5 for the cheese, Receive a $5 off catalina from the register (good on a future purchase)
Final Price: FREE

Update: I just tried this at my Albertson’s & wanted to emphasize that this deal will only work on the brick or shredded cheeses. The coupon also includes Sour cream & Cream Cheese. However, when I added Cream Cheese to try it, the Catalina did not print.

Just an FYI, I’ve found that shredded cheese freezes very well – I have quite a bit still in my freezer from the 10 cent cheese at Fred Meyer earlier.

Albertson’s Doublers – August 29th – August 31st

As I announced on the Thrifty NW Mom Facebook Fan page, my sweet husband just arrived home from picking blueberries& brought the  Seattle Times early edition paper with him.  And guess what – there were 3 Albertson’s Twice -the-Value  (or doubler) coupons! I was a little skeptical this week if we were definitely going to get them, but it has been a few weeks since the last ones.  And this week we’re actually home so I can take full-advantage. Hope you can too! These doublers are good from Sunday 8/29 – Tuesday 8/31/10.

If your paper for some reason does not have the doublers or if you want more, remember that you can always ask your Customer Service desk at Albertsons, where they should give you at least 1 copy.

Rules on using Albertson’s Twice – the – Value Coupons:

-You can use up to 3 doublers in a transaction.

-You can double the value of a coupon up to $1

-You can now double coupons that say “Do Not Double” – this is an official policy now for Albertson’s stores. I’ve never had issues at my stores, but some stores have not allowed coupons to be doubled that say “Do Not Double”.

Scenarios for FREE Items using your Albertson’s doublers:

Buy {5} Kraft salad dressing – $1.34/ea = $6.70 (My store only had Zesty Italian & Ranch priced at $1.34-your store may vary)
Use {5} $.35/1 peelie coupons (found on product)

Ball Park $2 off Coupon = FREE at Albertson’s + FREE Doritos!!

There is a new $2 off 1 coupon for any Ball Park coupon.  All you need to do is head over to Ball Park Frank’s Facebook page, “like” the page & then click on the “Coupon” tab. Fill out your email & they will send you the link to the coupon.

I just printed my coupons out (hit the back arrow to print twice) & my coupons expire September 24, 2010.

You can pair this $2 off Ball Park coupon up with a sale on Ball Park Hot Dogs at Albertson’s this week.  They are on sale for $1.99.  So, this makes for FREE hot dogs!  And I just heard from a FB fan (thanks Jen) that there is also an in-ad coupon for FREE Doritos when you purchase 2 Ball Park Franks!! Albertson’s Instant Win Game

Update:: Several readers have now won $25 Albertson’s gift cards.  I also received an email from a reader who said her husband played & won a $500 gift card to The Container Store – just in time for their twins’ arrival in a few months! Isn’t that so cool?!

Are you signed up yet for Albertson’s email list? If not, this is a great reason to sign up today – you’ll get a coupon for $2 off produce at Albertson’s when you sign up for their email list.  All you need to do is head over to the Albertson’s website & enter your information, including your Albertson’s loyalty card number (although I didn’t have it on me when I signed up & it worked).  You’ll also want to enter the promo code: PRODUCE to make sure you receive your coupon.  It will be sent in an email shortly after you sign up. {I was able to print the coupon twice by hitting the back arrow & refresh}

The Albertson’s email list is a great list to sign up for as they frequently send out high-value coupons, especially on items you may not typically find as many coupons such as produce, meat, etc.
