Zulily is an invitation only, online site featuring up to 70% off of higher end boutique items for baby, kids & women. I have featured them before & love the items they offer! Well, Zulily is based in the Northwest & also offers occasional local deals just for the Seattle area, called Zulily Local. You can sign up for the Zulily newsletter & they will send you emails about these events, as well as their daily sales going on at Zulily.
Today only Thursday August 12th, they are offering a special Zulily Local deal for those in the Northwest. They are featuring a special package for Mariners fans where you can get seats in a family-friendly suite for $60/ticket (regularly priced at $110-45% savings). This is for Sunday August 29th at 1:10pm to see the Mariners play the Twins. You’ll also get $10 to spend on food or souvenirs as well as some other great features.

It’s time for our last giveaway of the week to conclude our week of giveaways! Our final giveaway is for a book written by one of my favorite travel writers, Lora Shinn, who is based here in Washington. Her website, Cascadia Kids, is an amazing resource for kid-friendly travel in the Northwest including Washington, Oregon & Vancouver, BC. I was excited to find out that Lora also recently published her first book, Northwest Kid Trips

Giveaway #5: Lawry’s Get Grilling Kit {Ended}

One of the reasons I love the summertime is because it means lots of opportunities for grilling! Not only do I love how flavorful the food can taste when you grill it – but my husband loves to grill, which means less work for me! 
We’ve been experimenting for awhile with different marinades, so I was excited to try out Lawry’s new marinade flavors. Lawry’s & My Blog Spark sent me their Get Grilling Kit & included was Lawry’s new Tuscan Sun Dried Tomato marinade and Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ marinade.
We tried out the Tuscan Sun Dried Tomato marinade & thought it was very tasty. My 4 year old daughter can be quite a picky eater & this often changes from day-to-day what she likes to eat – but she really seemed to like this flavor as it wasn’t too strong, but still was flavorful. I’m looking forward to trying out the Szechuan marinade as well.
Make sure to check out the newest flavor pairings with McCormick Seasoning’s & Lawry’s marinades over at McCormick’s website, as well as some delicious recipes for the grill! The Applewood Grilled Shrimp & Plum Salad with Cinnamon-Honey Dressing recipe sounds delicious!
