Well, as you can see,  we’re definitely coming near the end of the back-to-school deals as the deals are definitely slowing down this week at Office Depot.  The stores are starting earlier & earlier every year with the Back-to-School sales. Or at least it seems like it to me as I’m dreading my hubby heading back to work at his high school this coming  Tuesday. The month of August just went too fast for us, especially since he taught summer school full-time during July – so August just seems like it flew by with him being home.   Teachers put in SO many overtime hours during the year that it is wonderful to have that extra time in the summer to spend together.

So, how many of you are all prepared for Back-to-School – clothes, school supplies & everything done? Or are you a procrastinator waiting till the last weekend or even night before?  I know many of you already had your kids start school the past week or two if you’re in other parts of the country, too.

Gap is once again having their 30% off Give & Get promotion, starting this Thursday August 26th & running thru Sunday August 29th. Even better, they will be donating 5% of the proceeds to a non-profit of your choice.  This doesn’t just include the Gap stores, though – it also includes Old Navy, Banana Republic, Gap Outlet & Banana Republic outlet.

$10 off Coupon for The Last Song – Blu-Ray Combo Pack

The movie “The Last Song” is being released today, Tuesday August 17th, in stores.  Just in time, there’s a new $10 off coupon for a blu-ray combo pack (which does include a DVD).  The coupon is on the right hand side of the website.

Toys R Us will have the combo pack on sale for $24.99, which means you’ll pay just $14.99 for “The Last Song”  Blu-Ray/DVD pack when using the $10 off coupon.

Here’s how it works:

If you don’t have a Toys R Us nearby, then bring the ad to Target or Walmart to price-match. You’ll just need to make sure the ad has the date mentioned as Target requires the ad with the dates for the sale for price-matching. I’ve price-matched DVD’s at Target several times with no problems.

So, have any of you seen this movie yet? I’m a big Nicholas Sparks fan (although I don’t know if I’ve read this book) – but not such a big Miley Cyrus fan, so wasn’t sure if I’d like it or not?
