Family Fun Magazine – $5 – Today Only
March 14, 2010

Are you a fan of the Family Fun magazine? I have to say that this is seriously one of my favorite magazines! I love all the great tips – kid-friendly recipes, fun arts & crafts to do with your kids, travel ideas, & much more! I was excited to hear that Disney Movie Rewards is offering the Family Fun magazine for just $5 for a year subscription {It’s currently $9.95 on Amazon}. The offer ends tonight, though, so make sure you order it today (ends at 11:59 pm est-which is 8:59pm pst)!!
All you need to do is sign up for Disney’s Movie Rewards program (or log in if you’re already a member). Then click on “Member Benefits” and “Special Offers” and you will see the ad for the magazine at the top of the page. This is a fantastic deal on this magazine subscription – I think I will be signing up so I can extend my subscription as it’s set to expire this spring.
Disney Movie Rewards is a great program to sign up for, not just for the magazine subscription. You can earn points when you buy Disney DVD’s, CD’s, and go to Disney movies in the theater to use for rewards/prizes such as movie tickets & more. When you sign up for the first time, you should receive Disney stickers & labels for your DVD’s in the mail, too. I have to admit that I hadn’t signed up before today, but I’m looking forward to checking out the rewards.
Have any of you signed up for the Disney Rewards ~ how do you like it? How easy has it been to receive rewards/prizes?
Thank you, FB fan Jennifer for sharing about this deal!

Sansa Fuze mp3 Player ~ $35 shipped!
March 13, 2010

Do you want an MP3 player, but can’t really afford to get a $200 iPod? Well, the Sansa Fuze is currently on sale (today only!) at Woot.com for only $29.99 plus $5 shipping, for a total of $34.99. It retails for almost $60 over at Amazon, and is usually over $40 on eBay.
The Fuze is a great little MP3 and video player that I just love. It has easy to use menus, has the ability to leave an audiobook and return to where you left off, and, probably most importantly, has a microSD card slot.
Amazon currently has a SanDisk 8GB microSD Card on sale for under $18. So for $30 (player) +$5 (shipping) + $18(8GB card) = $53 for a 12 GB music player! You’d be hard pressed to find a better deal for a quality MP3 player.
Thanks to my hubby for this post!

Pictureka Flipper & Monopoly Card Game = $2.66 Total w/coupons
March 12, 2010

I just got back from Target and found a great new clearance find – Pictureka Flipper was on clearance for $7.42 (it was on an end cap as well as in the regular game section at my Target). It’s normally over $15. I was able to use a $5 off Hasbro game coupon which I received inside one of the card games I’d bought last month. The final price was just $2.42!! Great price!! I’m going to use as a birthday gift or save for a Christmas gift.
Here’s a scenario you can use:
(if you have coupons that haven’t expired from last month’s Hasbro game coupons, then you should have the $5 off Pictureka coupon. Mine had expired on 3/7, though, so I couldn’t use that one)

1st transaction:
Buy the Monopoly Card Game – $5.24
Use $5 off printable Monopoly coupon HERE
Final Price: $.24
*Inside this game you should find a $5 off coupon on select Hasbro games (it will be marked on the outside, so make sure the one you picked is marked)
2nd transaction:
Buy the Pictureka Flipper Game for $7.42
Use the $5 off Hasbro game coupon (from inside the Monopoly card game)
Final Price: $2.42
So, you’ll end up with the Pictureka Flipper & the Monopoly Card game for a total of $2.66 (+tax). Wow!!

The Princess & the Frog DVD- $10 off Coupon
March 11, 2010

Next Tuesday, March 16th is the day that The Princess and the Frog movie is being released to stores! There is now a $10 off coupon good for the Deluxe DVD/Blu-Ray combo. There is a coupon for US only and a coupon for Canada only (make sure to print off the correct one). Target will have the deluxe Blu-Ray version priced at $26.99 (including an exclusive Princess Tiana purse). I haven’t heard yet how much it will cost at Walmart, but it should be similar in price (and they most likely will have an exclusive item as well, although we don’t know what that will be yet).
There are also 2 mail-in rebate offers you can combine with the coupon for an even better deal on the movie:
1) $5 rebate – Buy 2 boxes of band-aids and The Princess & the Frog DVD & get a $5 rebate by mail. Go HERE to download the form. Expires June 30th. {Remember you can get bandaids for FREE at Target right now)
2) $5 rebate – Buy any roll of FrogTape multi-surface (24mm, 36mm, or 48mm) painters tape and The Princess & the Frog DVD and get a $5 rebate by mail. Go HERE to print off the rebate form. Expires May 31st.
*Both of these mail-in rebates allow for photocopies of the Princess & Frog receipt & requires a proof of purchase tab (the movie will have 2 proof of purchase tabs). You also do not need to purchase the item & movie on the same receipt. Therefore, you could submit both of these rebates!
Final Price for the Deluxe Princess and the Frog Blu-Ray/DVD combo will be $6.99 at Target (including the Princess Tiana purse) if you use the $10 off coupon AND the 2 mail-in rebates!! Wow, now that is a deal!!
I’ll try to update this when I hear what the Walmart price/exclusive item will be. Let us know if you hear of any other great deals where we could use this coupon!
**There is also a $10 off coupon for the movie “Old Dogs” on this site as well, if you’re interested in this movie!!
Thanks Couponing to Disney & reader Janae!

Safeway & Albertson’s Cereal Deal – Today Only!
March 10, 2010

I’m just getting caught up after being off the computer all last night & today and found this awesome cereal deal going on at both Albertson’s & Safeway! But, you’ll have to hurry as it will only work today (Wednesday March 10th)!! It looks like your best bet is Safeway, although it’s still an awesome price at Albertson’s too!
Here’s the catalina deal (thru today) at both stores:
Buy select Kellogg’s cereals (Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, Froot Loops, Corn Pops, Cocoa Krispies, Honey Smacks)
If you buy 3, get a $1 catalina back
Buy 4, get a $3 catalina
Buy 5, get a $4 catalina
Safeway also has a Buy 5, Get $5 instant savings promotion (so make sure you buy your cereal in groups of 5)
Even better, I’m hearing reports that there are blinkie coupons on the cereals mentioned (as well as on some of the healthier Kellogg’s cereals, which unfortunately are not included in the catalina deal, but the coupon will make these a better price). So, make sure to look for the blinkie coupons (little blinkie machines right in front of the cereal boxes)
Here’s how to work the deal (once you buy your 5 cereals, you can “roll” the catalina & do the same deal again if you choose using your catalina to pay (although you may need to add in an extra item to use up all of your catalina)::
Safeway::
Buy 5 Kellogg’s select cereals (Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, Froot Loops, Cocoa Rice Krispies) $1.50 each (reg. $2.50-when you buy 5, instant $5 savings)
Use 5 $.70/1 blinkie coupons
(If you can’t find these, there are $1/2 coupons in the 3/7 Red Plum insert – use 2 of these)
Final Price: $4 (if using the blinkie coupons) and receive a $4 catalina back = 5 FREE boxes of cereal (after catalina & coupons)
Use that catalina to roll the deal & buy another 5 cereals {just be courteous & don’t clear the blinkie machines of all the coupons}
Albertson’s:
Buy 4 Kellogg’s select cereals – priced at $1.88/ea ($7.52 total)
Use (2) $1/2 coupons from 3/7 Red Plum insert
Final Price: $5.52, Get back $3 catalina = $.63/ea (after catalina & coupons)
Thanks Krazy Coupon Lady & Frugal Living NW!
