Albertsons: Powerade Sports Drinks – $.30/ea. after Catalina!

Albertson’s Instant Savings Spotlight Promo just got a little better!

I ran into Albertsons this morning to take advantage of the program. Unfortunately, my store was out of some of the promo items I was looking for, so I bought 10 Powerades and paid only $5.00. A surprise Catalina printed out for $2.00 for purchasing 10 of them.  This made them only $.30/ea. when you buy 10.

Make sure to check out the rest of the weekly Albertsons deals and coupon matchups before you head to the store.

Here’s how it works:

Powerade (ion4) or Fuze  -  $.50/ea. (when you buy 10 in a single transaction)
Buy 10
Pay $5.00, Get back $2.00 Catalina
Final Price: $3.00 for 10 or $.30/ea.

The Catalina does roll into subsequent transactions. This is an unadvertised deal. I’m not exactly sure how many exactly trigger the Catalina, or how long it will last. But for now, it’s working.

is it just the powerade or the fuse too?

I have only tried it on the Powerade. But the Catalina Coupon says “Save $2.00 on your next order, Thank you from vitaminwater, smartwater, Fuze and Powerade Ion4″.

Yes, you can use it on anything in the store (except for a few exclusions). But you can also roll it into another 10 Fuze, Powerade or Vitaminwater transaction and pay only $.30/ea. when you buy 10.

I did this today, such a great deal. I had 50 manufacture coupons for $.50 off 2 and did transactions of 10 at a time. Using the $2 catalina every time, they totaled $1.50 making it $.15 each. I ended up with a 100 and still have coupons to share with friends. I got the coupons at a local CVS.
