Reader CaraLee let us know about a great Nature Valley Catalina that is printing right now at Safeway. Combine it with the in-ad coupon and a manufacturer coupon that just came out in yesterday’s paper to get a great deal on granola bars! This deal can only be done through Tuesday, January 10th.
{A catalina is a coupon that prints from the box next to the register that you can then use on a future transaction. These can be triggered by specific purchases or based on an advertised promotion.}

I never saw that fine print! The other day I got 8 boxes with just the in-ad q. The checker didn’t even blink. I did two transactions with 4 boxes in each transaction. I didn’t mean to break the rules. I’ve just never seen that stated (didn’t read it) and always do two transactions at Safeway with in-ad qs. How can they enforce this? Is it just honor system?
