As always, Walmart is going to be offering some great Black Friday deals. This year they are splitting it up into three separate events or start times. The first begins Thanksgiving November 24th at 10:00pm and this is the event with most of the deals. The second wave begins on Friday November 25th at 12:00 am and the last begins on Friday at 8:00 am.
You can find the Walmart Black Friday ad online plus you will find a store map showing where all the doorbuster items will be located around the store. Just put in your zip code to get your individual store map.
We have broken the highlights down by the separate events. Included next to select items is a link that you can click on to check each item’s price at Amazon (if available) as Amazon may be matching and/or beating some of these prices as Black Friday gets closer (along with possible free super saver shipping).
We have also included links to Walmart.com as it looks like Walmart will be offering many of the same deals online (this happened last year for many of the *hot* in-store deals!) Don’t forget that Walmart.com offers Free Site to Store shipping on a number of items.
Walmart’s Price-Matching Policy:
As we mentioned earlier this month, Walmart is offering a Christmas Price Guarantee. If you buy an item at Walmart & then find that it goes on sale later during the Christmas season, you can bring your receipt in to receive a Walmart gift card for the difference in price. However, this will not work for Black Friday deals. They will be still allowing their Price-Matching policy, though, for Black Friday (you can see details of the Ad Match policy on the Walmart website – on the far right). They don’t require that you have the ad with you, but I always recommend you bring it in (especially for such a busy day as Black Friday) to match the Black Friday items from a different store. Make sure to read all the fine print before you try it, though.

is there a way to figure out if they are going to have the deals online as well or you just have to chance it? Do they just have a certain quantity set aside of each item for online buying?
Neeka – unfortunately they want people going in the stores, so they are not going to advertise it ahead of time (typically). But, last year, they had a number of the deals available online. But, yes, they will most likely have a certain quantity set aside, but we found they were available longer online than what was happening in the stores with such a limited quantity available there.
